SBI (State Bank of India) has announced the number of vacancies every year all over the India in the field of probationary officer for qualified and entitled applicants. The SBI (State Bank of India) has 52 foreign offices in 34 countries and it also serves the global desires of the foreign customers as well as vend/retail operations also.

Vacancy Description for SBI PO recruitment 2013:
For 2013 there are 1500 posts for entitled applicants to be recruited as a probationary officer in SBI (state bank of India).


Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The entitled applicant should have passed the graduation from the recognized university in any stream through central government.

Age Calculation for SBI PO Recruitment:
The eligible applicant should not be below than the age of 21 years and not bigger than the age of 30 years as on calculation 01-01-2013.
The applicant should be born prior than 02-01-1983 and not afterward than 01-01-1992.
Both the age dates of applicants will be considered as important dates to apply for the posts of Probationary officer in SBI (State Bank of India).

Fee Criteria for SBI PO recruitment:
Categories of applicants Fee Amount
For General Category The amount will be Rs. 200 counting intimation charges.
Foe ST/SC AND PWD The amount will be Rs. 50 only (which was considered as intimation charges.


Selection Method for PO recruitment:
The selection method consists of two stages for the recruitment of SBI PO:

1ST Phase is as follows: In first stage the applicant has to clear the written test as per the instructions of SBI by central government. The written test consists of 250 marks which carries test of 200 marks for written test and descriptive test of 50 marks as per the instructions of central government by SBI (state bank of India).
2nd Phase is as follows: In second stage of selection the applicant has to attend the group discussion of 20 marks for the posts of probationary officer in SBI (State bank of india) as well as applicant should also clear the interview round of 30 marks for the selection of probationary officer in SBI (state bank of India).

Alerting dates for SBI PO Recruitment:

Online registration of application will start from the date 30-01-2013 and the registration for PO will be closed on the date of 23-02-2013.

Online procedure for paying the fees will start from the date as on 30-01-2013 and fee payment procedure will closed on the date as on 23-02-2013.

For offline payment of fees will start from the date as on 01-02-2013 and offline procedure will closed on date as on 28-02-2013.

The date of written examination is 28-04-2013.

(iii) 26 years for Statistical Investigators Gr.II. Usual age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ExS etc. as per Govt. orders.)

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from any recognised University. (ii) Statistics/ Mathematics / Economics / Commerce subjects in Graduation for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II (iii) Bachelor's Degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory of Elective subject. For the posts of Assistants (CSS), Computer Proficiency has been prescribed as an essential qualification.

Fee: Rs. 100/-. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman. Fee will be paid only in the form of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" These stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. For the candidates who are applying online, should pay in the branches of SBI through payment challans which can be printed online.

Closing Date: Last date for filling of the offline application is 15/02/2013 (5PM), last date is 22/02/2013 for candidates from far-flung areas.
