The 3 Fs of Feeding: Get It Right! 🥄👶
Once your baby completes the 6-month mark, it’s time to focus on the 3 Fs of Feeding for healthy growth! It’s all about feeding often, feeding right, and feeding family foods.
Here’s a quick guide from the experts:
💜 Frequency: Start by feeding solids 2–3 times a day initially. As your baby grows and eats more, you can gradually increase this.
💛 Fortification: Boost the energy content! Add healthy fats like ghee or oil to your baby’s mashed meals to pack in extra calories for development.
🧡 Family foods: Transition them to soft-modified home meals! It’s easier and ensures they get the best nutrition from what the family is already eating.
You are doing a great job introducing your baby to a world of flavor and nourishment! Keep up the wonderful work! ✨

Texture Progression = Skill Building! 🥣🧠
Remember, food texture grows with your child! As your baby gets older, gradually changing the consistency of their food is essential for their development. This isn’t just about eating; it’s about skill building!
Here is the recommended progression:
➡️ Start mashed \rightarrow move to soft lumps \rightarrow introduce finger foods!
咀 Chewing develops speech muscles! The oral motor skills your baby uses for eating are the same ones needed for talking.
🛑 Avoid only liquids/purees after 8 months. Keep challenging those little mouths!
Let your baby explore different textures safely. It’s a messy, wonderful journey toward independence! ❤️

🌈 Children’s Mental Health Matters 🌈
Every child’s smile hides a story — of wonder, curiosity, and sometimes, quiet struggles. 💭
Let’s remember: their feelings are real, their emotions valid.
When we listen, support, and empower, we raise not just healthy children — but happy humans. 💖
Nurture their minds like you nurture their dreams.
Because happy minds truly build a healthy world. 🌍✨
