10 days training of 32 Cluster Livestock Managers - Make your own feed - 70% cost of livestock farming is cost of feeding and this can be made from locally grown materials as supplementary feed to small and large livestock. What is missing is uses of damaged grains, pulses by products and oilcakes. This may help farmers to get fresh feed , use of their own farm grown crops and enable cash saving and marketing cost incurred.
This project with over 50 selected civil societies and FPCs across 7 Indian states has focus on enabling rural youths to be local changemakers and support Pashu Sakhies to set up micro enterprises in small livestock value chain. Along with Feed, herbals, tools and equipments , financial services, marketing services and linkages for inputs, value added products of milk, meat, manure and eggs can generate both employment and income on sustainable basis and help in strengthening local economy, women earned income and most importantly promote better natural resource utilization ....... Thanks to Reliance Foundation and USAID supported project "Women connect" whose team visited Goat Gurukul and Goat milk soap factory. Goat milk soap with its 7 variants and new cosmetics products like Shaving cream, body lotion, Moisturizer and lip balm have high potential to be a larger social enterprise, where TGT team worked for last 7 years to build multiple range of cosmetics and food items from goat milk.
In new financial year we are targeting to reach 50000 handmade soaps per month production to provide regular employment to 50 women at Haryana and Lucknow plant. Somehow we are not able to mobilize enough resources to scale it up but with a new start up company in the next FY, we plan to build India's largest handmade goat milk soap factory and hope this dreams get wings in next FY

महाराष्ट्र के 6 चयनित जिलों में बकरी मूल्य श्रृंखला उद्यमों के विकास के लिए तकनीकी सहायता के चौथे चरण को शुरू करने के लिए एमएसआरएलएम सीईओ और टीजीटी टीम को धन्यवाद। इस चरण में पशुमार्ट को गांव और क्लस्टर स्तर पर पशुधन के लिए वन स्टॉप शॉप के रूप में स्थापित करने और 13 महिला बकरी किसान उत्पादक कंपनियों के साथ समेकित व्यवसाय के लिए ग्राम पशुधन व्यापार केंद्र (वीएलटीसी) और क्लस्टर पशुधन व्यापार केंद्र (सीएलटीसी) स्थापित करने पर प्रमुख फोकस है। वास्तविक चुनौती एफपीसी सदस्यों के साथ वाणिज्यिक बकरी फार्म बनाना और बड़े पैमाने पर व्यवसाय बनाना है। अगले 2 वर्षों में, इसका लक्ष्य बकरी मूल्य श्रृंखला में 2000 लाख व्यवसाय करना है।
चौथे चरण के लॉन्च से पता चलता है कि घरेलू स्तर की व्यावसायिक सेवाओं का निर्माण और बड़े व्यवसाय और बाजारों में समेकन संभव है यदि टीम निरंतर फोकस और नवाचारों के साथ काम करती है। आशा है कि यह चरण बकरी मूल्य श्रृंखला के लिए इस तरह का पहला ऑनग्राउंड मॉडल के रूप में एक स्केलेबल मॉडल बनाएगा...
