The IEEE Student Branch of IEEE Student Branch S.R. Institute of Management & Technology (SRIMT), Lucknow, successfully organized a webinar on “Understanding VoIP & Exploring IEEE Young Professionals”.

We were delighted to have Mr. Gaurav Pathak (IEEE Impact Creator & Brand Ambassador) as our speaker, who shared valuable insights on VoIP technology and the opportunities within IEEE Young Professionals.

The session witnessed active participation from students and turned out to be an engaging and informative experience for everyone.

Their review paper titled “Energy Efficiency through Communication: Innovations in Electronics Design” has been accepted and published in the prestigious i-manager’s Journal on Electrical Engineering (Vol. 19, No. 1, September-December 2025).

The paper explores innovative communication techniques and electronic design strategies that enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainable electronics a step forward toward a smarter, greener future.

On 7th October 2025, the IEEE Student Branch, S.R. Institute of Management & Technology, Lucknow, along with its PES, PELS, SPS, EMBS Student Chapters and WiE Affinity Group, proudly celebrated IEEE Day 2025 with an inspiring Volunteer Meet.

The event brought together enthusiastic IEEE members and volunteers to celebrate the theme “Advancing Technology for a Better Tomorrow.” 💡⚙️

🎤 Er. Beer Singh, Advisor, welcomed the participants, setting the tone for the event. Mr. Ajay Kumar, Chair, IEEE Student Branch; Ms. Nandini Chaurasia IEEE SRIMT Ambassador & EMBS Chairperson; and Mr. Shivansh Srivastava, Vice-Chair, IEEE Student Branch, shared their experiences and highlighted the benefits of being part of the IEEE community and its chapters.
