Sarthak Foundation
Educating children from economically weaker sections in slums and villages. Our programmes: Yellow Rooms, RTI Sarthak Gurukul and Sarthak Resilience Incubator.
We are a Registered Society with FCRA, 12A and 80G (Income Tax Exemption) Sarthak Foundation started in 2013 when an incident involving little children living in a Lucknow urban slum exposed Kshama, the Founder of Sarthak, to extreme hunger and abject poverty, somethings that are so pervasive and rampant that they have become part of the landscape and we don’t notice them even when they are right

Children at Yellow Rooms created “Pollution Catchers” using paper plates, thread and a thin layer of Vaseline. They hung them outside to observe how dust and dirt from the air stick to surfaces, helping them understand the importance of clean surroundings and fresh air.

13 year old girls from Balrampur, Nilanshu, Priyanka Prajapati and Priyanka Upadhyaya, trekked to the Mount Everest Base Camp, proving that dreams are never limited by background.
We appreciate the Balrampur district administration and the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative for creating such powerful opportunities for girls from rural communities.
At Sarthak, we continue working towards empowering girls to dream bigger, lead confidently and take fearless steps towards their future 💛

In the scorching summer heat, Anjali noticed a thirsty cow standing quietly near an empty water bowl. Without wasting a moment, she brought fresh water and gently filled it again.

Our Gurukul family is filled with joy and gratitude as we celebrate a beautiful new milestone — four new classrooms have been added to Round Table India Sarthak Gurukul.
Yesterday’s inauguration was not just the opening of classrooms, but the celebration of a dream steadily taking shape in the heart of Sonari, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh - a school bringing experience-based digital education to children right in their own village. Today, the Gurukul proudly nurtures more than 1000 children from 108 villages.
The ceremony became even more special with the gracious presence of RK Sir, who had laid the very first foundation stone of the Gurukul and whose vision continues to inspire this journey. The inauguration was conducted by Mr. Manish ji amidst songs, smiles, celebrations, and immense excitement among the children, and the entire Gurukul family.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Round Table India and Ladies Circle Team for believing in this vision and helping quality education reach the remotest corners of Uttar Pradesh with such commitment and heart.

A memorable day of learning and exploration for our children.
A heartfelt thank you to the team from Atlassian for taking our children to the Planetarium and giving them such a meaningful exposure. The children were excited, curious and full of questions as they explored planets, stars and the wonders of space.
The day became even more special with delicious snacks and warm conversations.
Experiences like these inspire children to dream bigger and learn beyond classrooms.

Care, nutrition and well-being are integral pillars of the Yellow Room’s SEPET program. Regular dental and health check-ups in the community are helping build awareness around children’s health and overall well-being. Such interventions play a vital role not always directly, but through meaningful indirect impact.
With the support of medical institutions and dedicated team of doctors, tries to bring much-needed care, awareness and wellbeing into the community. A glimpse from the dental camp organised by SPPGIDMS, LUCKNOW at Yellow Rooms, supported by Ashraya Hastha Trust.
