Come be part of a literary moment that connects the past with the present.

The launch of a Coffee Table Book, “A walk through time, exploring La Martiniere College’s Rich heritage” celebrating 180 years of existence of La Martiniere College, authored by Mr. Adrian Michael, Alumnus 1982 and Bursar Of La Martiniere College was organized on 7th February, 2026 on the Principal’s Lawn of La Martiniere College, Lucknow. Mr. Vivek Bhargava, alumnus 1988 contributed in the processing of the book. This was followed by presentation of commemorative cheques for the construction of a monument at the Memorial Park commemorating and in remembrance of Alumni who have served with distinction in the armed forces of the nation and for the construction of a Basket Ball facility which shall be called the LMA Basketball Arcade respectively.

The Coffee table Book was unveiled by Chief Guest, Prof. Alok Dhawan, alumnus of 1982 in the presence of The Principal of La Martiniere College, Mr. Gary Dominic Everett and Mr. Michael.

Mr. Mohit Bhargava, President of the LMA welcomed Prof. Dhawan & the Principal and presented them a bouquet of flowers and a memento in the presence of Mr. Michael, to mark the occasion.

Prof. Dhawan engaged Mr. Everett and Mr. Michael in a discussion about the book which brought to light some very interesting facts on Mart.

This was followed by welcoming of a special guest, Commodore Arvind Singh, MVC, NM and alumnus 1977 (Inter.) by Mr. Everett and joined Prof. Dhawan, Mr. Everett and Mr. Michael on stage. Prof. Dhawan then engaged in a conversation with the Commodore and he reminisced about his time in La Martiniere and how Mart was instrumental in his development which helped him achieve heights in his career.

The evening concluded with Dinner hosted by the Principal, La Martiniere College, Lucknow.
