Indian scientists develop new drug for Parkinson’s | India Medical Times Lucknow (IANS): Indian researchers have developed a new therapy that has been found to reverse Parkinson’s-like symptoms in rats and the researchers believe that the findings could one day lead to a new therapy for human patients.

Nature Reviews Neurology: Despite a growing emphasis on biomarkers in research into Alzheimer disease (AD) and Parkinson disease (PD), there is little consensus as to which biomarkers are most effective. In this Review, Lleó and colleagues discuss cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers for AD and PD, with a particular emphasis on applicability to clinical trials.
