An inspiring day of ideas, connection and celebration!
The ICS Western India Inaugural Leadership Conclave brought together inspiring voices from education, industry, leadership and the student community around a shared question: How do we prepare young people not just for careers, but for meaningful lives in an AI-driven world?
Under the theme “Preparing Youth for India @ 2047: Technology Enables. Human Values Empower,” the day came alive with thought-provoking conversations, fresh perspectives, young voices and meaningful connections — all centred around the future we want to create for the next generation.
From Dr. Jonathan Long, Director, Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad, sharing global perspectives on Educating for an Uncertain Future, to Mr. Rishi Bagla, Managing Director, Bagla Group, exploring Preparing Youth for India @ 2047, the conclave offered powerful insights into the changing world of education, work and opportunity. Mr. Ranjit Dass, Director, Nath Valley School, Aurangabad, shared his thoughts on empowering young people to build purposeful, responsible and fulfilling lives, while the Future-Ready Maharashtra leadership panel brought together diverse voices from education, career development, health, industry, entrepreneurship and public policy. The conversations were further enriched by the ideas and perspectives of young changemakers, educators and counsellors.
For ICS, the occasion held a special significance. Founded in 1985 by Dr. Amrita Dass, ICS has spent over four decades helping learners discover themselves, explore possibilities and find the right path for their unique potential. Dr. Dass’s enduring passion for helping every learner find that path continues to be at the heart of ICS’s work across India and the world.
The official launch of the ICS Western Region Centre marks another step in that journey, bringing this vision closer to more students and institutions across the region. With Dr. Sharda Gupta as Director, ICS Western Region, we are excited to expand this work and make meaningful, expert-led career guidance accessible to many more young people.
The celebration was made even more special with the second edition of the ICS Young Value Creator Awards, recognising young individuals whose ideas, values and actions are making a difference.
