Day 1 | National Forensic Science Week

Day 1 of National Forensic Science Week, organised by the Department of Forensic Science, School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, T.S. Mishra University, featured the ceremonial lamp lighting, expert addresses, felicitation and meaningful interaction around the field of forensic science.

The programme was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Adarsh Kumar, Director, U.P. State Forensic Science Laboratory (UPS FSL), with Dean, faculty members and students participating in the session. The day included guest interaction, discussions and insights highlighting the practical relevance of forensic science and its role in investigation.

From a crime scene setup to the search for evidence — forensic science came alive at T.S. Mishra University!

The National Forensic Science Week, organised by the Department of Forensic Science, School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, T.S. Mishra University, brought students into an engaging forensic learning experience.

The day-01 event featured realistic crime scene setups, evidence markers, forensic examination activities and student participation, giving learners a closer look at how forensic science connects observation, evidence and investigation.

Inaugural Ceremony | One-Week FDP-cum-STP

School of Pharmacy, T.S. Mishra University successfully celebrated the inaugural ceremony of the One-Week Faculty Development Programme-cum-Student Training Programme (FDP-cum-STP) on “Industrial Microbiological Tools and Techniques.”

T.S. Mishra University, Lucknow, in collaboration with Bioverse Technologies Pvt. Ltd., successfully inaugurated the One-Week Faculty Development Programme-cum-Student Training Programme on “Industrial Microbiological Tools and Techniques.” The inaugural session was conducted under the mentorship of Honourable Mrs. Praniti Misra, Executive Director, T.S. Mishra University, with Prof. Dr. Savita Upadhyay, Dean, School of Pharmacy, serving as the Convener.

The programme also featured expert resource person Dr. Aakash Singh, Research Scientist, Bioverse Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The FDP-cum-STP marked an engaging beginning with expert interaction and a focus on practical exposure in industrial microbiology.

NUTRITION WEEK CELEBRATION – GRAND FINALE
Celebrating Nutrition Through Knowledge & Creativity!

The Final Day of Nutrition Week Celebration was marked with an engaging Nutrition Exhibition on “Balanced Diet”, beautifully organised by the enthusiastic B.Sc. Nursing 3rd Semester students.

Through creative displays, food presentations and informative models, students highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition, essential nutrients, healthy food choices and nutritional awareness.

The exhibition was also graced by the presence of the Deans of Ayurveda, Pharmacy, Law, Business Management, and Computer Science, whose encouragement and support motivated our students and added to the significance of the celebration.

Kudos to our B.Sc. Nursing 3rd Semester students for their creativity, teamwork and effort in making the Nutrition Week Grand Finale a meaningful learning experience!

World Patient Safety Day 2026

Patient safety is an essential part of quality healthcare. On World Patient Safety Day 2026, T.S. Mishra University, College of Nursing, Amausi, Lucknow, organised a seminar on “Patient Care for Non-Communicable Disease.”

The session brought valuable insights on quality and patient safety in hospitals, mental health and safe care, medication safety, and community-based prevention for NCDs. Students of B.Sc. Nursing 3rd Semester and ANM 1st Year participated in the session and explored the importance of safe, holistic and patient-centred care.
