DM orders closure of school until class VIII by May 6, changes timing from Monday

Lucknow district administration on Saturday orders closure of schools from Class nursery to class VIIIth maximum by May 6. The decision was taken following continuing heatwave conditions prevailing in the state capital.

The DM also ordered change in timing for the schools yet again from Monday onwards. Classes Nursery to Classes VIIIth would begin from 7 am and get over by 11am. Similarly, class 9th until class XIIIth, classes would begin at 7 am and get over at 12 noon.

The schools for class IXth to XIIth would get closed maximum by May 20, District Magistrate Raj Shekhar said.
