We are delighted to celebrate Mr. Nikhilesh Kumar Pandey, Mathematics educator at CMS Cambridge International, Gomti Nagar Extension, on being honoured with the Teacher of the Year Award at the Jagran Edusolv Awards 2026.

From inspiring students across IGCSE and A Level Mathematics to strengthening Mathematics teaching through teacher training and academic mentorship, Mr. Pandey’s contribution extends far beyond the classroom.

**Theme: How Events Shape History – The Revolt of 1857**

Grade VIII students brought history to life through an engaging culmination of their Experiential Learning Programme (ELP) on 12 September 2026! ✨

🎭 Through collaborative presentations, students represented Rani Lakshmibai, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Bahadur Shah Zafar, and Queen Victoria, exploring the causes and effects of the Revolt of 1857.

📰 A special highlight was the newspaper exhibition, where students presented four distinct perspectives—the British, common people, sepoys/soldiers, and Indian royalty—showcasing their ability to analyse historical events from multiple viewpoints.

Literary Week at **CMS Cambridge Gomti Nagar Extension** was a joyful celebration of books, stories, imagination and the magic of words! 🌈📖

From sharing favourite reads in **Show & Tell** 🗣️📚 and showcasing confidence in the **Just a Minute Inter-House Competition** 🎤, to celebrating reading through a **Reading Competition** 📖🏆, every activity brought our young learners closer to the world of literature.

The excitement continued with **Guess the Fable** 🦊🐢, where students used clues, props and creativity to help their friends uncover famous fables!

In the library, ***The Tunnel* by Anthony Browne** came alive through narration and enactment 🎭. Pausing the story for predictions sparked curious minds and imaginative possibilities. 💭✨

The week also celebrated the joy of sharing through **Buddy Reading**, as Grade 3 students supported their Grade 1 buddies in reading and discovering the pleasure of books together. 🤝📚

Learning came alive for our **Grade 3 learners of CMS Cambridge Gomti Nagar Extension** as they visited **CMS Vishwa Radio** as part of their *Experiential Learning Project on the History of Communication*.

From discovering how **voices, music and sound effects** bring stories to life to exploring microphones, recording equipment and studios, our young learners got an exciting glimpse into the world of radio broadcasting. 🎧🎶

The curious minds listened, observed, questioned and discovered how a radio programme travels from the studio to listeners. A truly **interactive, informative and memorable learning experience beyond the classroom!** 🌟📚

A proud moment for CMS Cambridge, Gomti Nagar Extension as our young astronomers shine at the Labrynthe International Astronomy Olympiad 2026 – International Level!

🔭 Vedanshi Rajput (Grade 2) secured the 1st Runner-Up position in Group 2.
🌟 Atharv Bora (Grade 5) emerged as 2nd Runner-Up, while Syed Hamdan Husain (Grade 4) secured 4th Position in Group 3.
🚀 Darsh Agarwal (Grade 8) earned the 2nd Runner-Up position, and Devaagyh Dixit (Grade 8) secured 8th Position in Group 4.
