Some Glimpses of Lucknow District Dissemination Workshop event...

गोरखपुर जनपद में District Dissemination Workshop आयोजित किया गया जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि सर्वशिक्षा अभियान के जिला समन्वयक निर्माण श्री रमेश चन्द्र एवं जिला समन्वयक सामुदायिक शिक्षा श्री के. डी. मिश्रा रहे। एड्रा इंडिया के जिला समन्वयक रंजीत कुमार ने मुख्य अतिथियों को सम्मानित करने के बाद एड्रा इंडिया द्वारा डिटाॅल बनेगा स्वस्थ इंडिया परियोजना की प्रगति एवं अभिनव गतिविधियों से परिचित कराया। उपस्थित अध्यापक/अध्यापिकाओं ने कार्यक्रम को लेकर अपने-अपने अनुभवों को साझा किया। उन्होंने बताया कि बच्चे स्वच्छता को पहले से ही सीख कर अपने व्यवहार में अपना चुके थे जिससे वे कोविड महामारी में पूर्णतः सुरक्षित रहे। इसके लिए उन्होंने एड्रा इंडिया की सराहना की। इस कार्यक्रम में 30 परिषदीय विद्यालयों के अध्यापकों को उनके स्वच्छता शिक्षा में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए स्मृतिचिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया गया। स्मृतिचिन्ह पाकर अध्यापकों ने कहा कि यह उन्हें हमेशा इस कार्यक्रम की याद दिलाएगा तथा अपने कार्य को और उत्कृष्ठ ढंग से करने के लिए सदा प्रेरित करता रहेगा। किसी विशेष कार्य से इस गतिविधि में बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी गोरखपुर इस कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित नहीं हो सके परन्तु इस गतिविधि को उन्होंने अपने फेसबुक पेज एवं इंस्टाग्राम पर पोस्ट किया।

District Dissemination Workshop successfully Conducted in Varanasi District. Honorable Mayor Mrs. Mridula Jaiswal and Padamshri awardee State Minister Shri Rajendra Acharya were chief guest on this event. BSA Mr. Rakesh Singh, BEO Mr. D.P. Singh, Health Officer Nagar Nigam were also special guest of this event. Project Coordinator Mr. Sanjay Singh shared the progress of BSI Project with the stakeholders and school teachers. Teachers also shared their experience and feedback on the hygiene education programme being conducted in their schools. School Teachers were awarded trophies and certificates for their exemplary work towards hygiene education in their schools.

As schools in Gorakhpur started opening their doors today after almost a year, ADRA India was at the forefront to welcome the excited students back to school. The schools celebrated the ocassion and decorated the premises with Rangoli, balloons and flags. The BSI teams set up temperature check points, sanitizers and ensured hygiene and social distancing protocols were maintained. Children were also taught proper handwashing methods with Dettol soaps under the Banega Swasth India Programme.

As schools prepare to open again, Banega Swasth India teams in UP and Bihar are working to ensure that all schools are equipped with ADRA India's school re-opening kits and Dettol soaps.

The school re-opening kits contain IEC material to inform students about ways to maintain hygiene once they are back in school. The soaps will take care of students' sanitation and hygiene needs.

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath visited ADRA India’s stall at the Sewapuri Vikas Abhiyan, a hygiene fair organized in Varanasi on 7th February to spread awareness and promote behavior change on sanitation and hygiene.
Under our school hygiene programme ‘Banega Swasth India’ supported by Reckitt Benckiser, we talked about the methods we have adopted to impart education on hygiene among school children and change the way communities in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar approach sanitation and hygiene. Primary school children demonstrated proper ways of handwashing in the presence of CM Yogi Adityanath.
Yogi Adityanath applauded ADRA India’s contribution in making Sewapuri a model block in terms of behavior change on hygiene.

Training of Teachers on hygiene education is conducted under BSI project. It was ensured that every participant must wear mask. Participants body temperature was recorded using Infrared Thermometer and their hands were sanitized by hands-free sanitizer unit before entering the training room.

Training of teachers is an important aspect of our hygiene education program in which nodal teachers have been trained on hygiene curriculum and behaviour change of school students.

We owe our sincere thanks and gratitude to our teachers. They put all their efforts to learn more on hygiene education programme in this Pandemic situation and ensured to impart this knowledge to their school children. TOT program organized in Gorakhpur, Bhagalpur and Varanasi, and other districts are in process to organised it.
