Dear Parents,

During this uncertain period of lockdown you all should be in positive energy and keep your children engaged in various activities apart from learning.
I am listing the following list of activities which you can engage your children at home .

1. Firstly make them follow the famous saying of
“Early to bed and early to rise”like make it a habit to wake them up at around 6 -6.30 am and to bed by 9.30 to 10 pm.

2. After that make them do simple free hand exercises and Yoga at home and also running and jogging in the same place and not letting them go outside if you have a balcony or a garden or open space in your home then it’s okay.

3. Tell them to do deep breathing and a little bit of other breathing exercises.

4. Also tell to wash hands properly after touching any objects.

5. Let them do some cleaning like sweeping the floor with broom
or mopping the floor at least one room off course taking in consideration the age of your child. Teach them to put they books,clothes and shoes in proper place.

6. Teach them how to grow plants 🌱 at least two plants and water them daily and see them growing
which will make them feel good how a plant grows from seeds and how daily watering and looking after the plants will teach them that everything takes time to nurture and grow up.

7. Play board games with them like Ludo, carrom,chess ,Chinese checkers ,scrabble,puzzles ,cubes instead of giving them to play with mobile handsets.

8. Tell them to watch Ramayan and Mahabharat serials telecast on Doordarshan channels nowadays which will teach them moral values,
of love and respect of mankind.

9. Make them learn tables classwise
Class 1 ( Tables 2 to 10)
Class 2 ( Tables 2 to 15)
Class 3 onwards ( Tables 2 to 20)

10. Let them draw,sketch ,colour ,paint anything which they are interested to do. And practice
and do Mathematics and some Mental maths .

11. Let them watch Discovery channels,Animal planet and Geographic channels .

12.Avoid going out of your home unless and until you need any thing of daily use . Do not take your children along with you.

I will forward some interesting activities classwise for our students to keep their minds occupied during this time period.
