Ram Navami is a popular Hindu festival worshipped across the country. It celebrates the birth of Lord Rama to King Dasharatha of Ayodhya on the ninth day of chaitra. He is believed to be the 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

To mark the day, people may fast or restrict themselves to a specific diet. The houses are thoroughly cleaned and offerings of flowers and fruits are placed on the shrine, along with the prayers being recited.

Divided by communities, united by one word, NITM.

Utkarsh 2k19 climaxed with BBDNITM winning the overall cultural trophy. The winners of Glam Fiesta i.e. Mr. and Ms. Utkarsh were from BBDNITM too. This was a cherry on top. The overall trophy went to BBDU. We congratulate them for their spectacular win.

The fest ended with a bundle of beautiful memories.

World Tuberculosis Day is observed on March 24 to build awareness among public regarding tuberculosis. Tuberculosis today remains an epidemic in much of the world, causing the deaths of nearly one-and-a-half million people each year, mostly in developing countries.

This day is a continuation of our joint attempts to keep TB high on the global and national agenda.
This year's theme will fortify the world is reminded of the adherence made and the instant need for action in scale up, research, funding, human rights and accountability.

23 March is one of the five days which are declared as Martyr's day.The day marks the death anniversary of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru in Lahore, Pakistan.

The tale of their courage and valour will continue to inspire generations.May we one day succeed in building the kind of India that our freedom fighters laid down their lives for.
