MANJARI’S INSTITUTE OF MUSIC & FINE ARTS (MIMFA), Lucknow was founded in 2010 by Mrs. Manjari Pandey, is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj, and is the first Fine Arts Institute in Uttar Pradesh to be accorded an ISO certified. Experienced and professional faculty provides individual attention and valued information to each student. Main thrust of MIMFA is to kindle the energy within each students that will propel them beyond their normal levels of excellence. The institute has every year approx. 3000 students passed in different courses. Knowledge Knows no boundaries. It is to be spread as much as it can is our motto. We also spread knowledge, art, culture etc. to those who are under privileged. Working on women empowerment, we have self-defense art and handy-craft classes as well. So as to render the women to be self-dependent and confident. There are degree & diploma courses in Classical Dance (Bharatnatyam, Kathak), Music (Classical Vocal, Classical Keyboard, Classical Guitar, Tabla), Arts (Fine Arts), certificate for these courses are provided by Prayag Sangit Samiti, Prayagraj. Short term courses such as Western Dance (Hip Hop, Free Style, B-Boying, contemporary etc.), Bollywood dance (exclusively for adult females), Physical fitness (Yoga, Zumba, Taekwondo), for Western instruments (Guitar, Keyboard) we provide certification from Trinity College of London. MIMFA has four Branches in Lucknow. MIMFA started with Bharatanatyam, Bollywood dance, Hindustani classical vocal, Classical Instruments (Guitar, Synthesizer, Dholak, Tabla), Fine Arts (Glass Painting, Mural, Charcoal art Hand Embroidery, Patchwork etc. ) and within span of 11 years other courses also added such as Western dance(Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Locking Popping, B-boying etc.), Western guitar, Taekwondo, Yoga and Zumba. Students get ample opportunities here to exhibit their talent through stage performances and talent shows, organized specially for them. They are trained in theoretical aspects along with training. A Social Initiative by Manjari’s Institute of Music & Fine Arts under MIMFA Foundation, an NGO for the welfare & upliftment of deprived and less privileged children & women of the society under the guidance of Mr. Ashish Pandey (President-MIMFA foundation) & Mrs. Manjari Pandey (Secretary-MIMFA Foundation). MIMFA Foundation stands for Making it Medium For All. As the name suggests, our mission and motto is to approach more and more people from every corner of the society, and provide the professional training in their course options. We are using performing art and other artistries as a tool to improvise this group. Under the flagship of MIMFA Foundation, a scholarship program 25 Young Guns is being conducted every year to provide up to 100% scholarship to 25 young & talented needy candidates who want to learn performing arts. It also has taken many social initiative time to time to contribute towards society and to create awareness among masses through planting trees on World Environment Day, Organizing Medical Camps on world diabetes day and on other such events etc. Apart from MIMFA foundation organizes many other shows and events through out the year to provide platform to performing arts.
