The college is running under the auspices of the Motilal Memorial Society, Lucknow . The College is situated on the bank of river Gomti.
The college was established in the year 1974 by the untiring efforts of the Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupt , renowned social worker and a popular leader, who became the chief-minister of the state four times. The college has lush green surroundings. The College offers under-graduate and post-graduate courses in Arts and Commerce faculties and under-graduate courses in Science, Computer and Managemen
