माँ तो बस माँ होती है

ये दुनिया है तेज़ धूप पर वो तो बस छाँव होती है
स्नेह से सजी, ममता से भरी माँ तो बस माँ होती है
माँ से बढ़कर कोईनही है इस सारे संसार मे
फिर भी हम उनसे दूर है होते एक धोखे से प्यार मे
इतने पर भी माँ के चेहरे पर मुस्कान और दुआएं होती है
खुद ही मार देने पर वो कोने में जा कर कितना रोती हैं,
स्नेह से सजी, ममता से भरी, माँ तो बस माँ होती हैं ||
हम सब जब कुछ गलत करें तो वो प्यार से बहुत समझाती हैं,
तब भी गर हम ना सुधरें तो वो कस के रपट लगाती हैं |
चैन से हम सो जाते हैं जब वो पास हमारे होती हैं,
स्नेह से सजी, ममता से भरी, माँ तो बस माँ होती हैं
हम बच्चों पर बचपन ही से वो लाड-प्यार बरसाती है
पापा जब गुस्सा करते हैं तो वो उनसे भी लड़ जाती हैं
ये दुनिया है तेज़ धूप पर वो तो बस छाँव होती है
