BTC Trainee Stuti using Global Dream curriculum to teach children at a government school as part of her internship program.

Global Dream presents wonderful opportunities to upgrade the quality of teaching at government schools.

Stuti Says — Thank You, I as well as the children found the books so interesting, they showed up interest and lot of excitement in the learning process, as the school believes that every child is born creative and these books seems to develop the child's intrinsic learning processes.The children memories and learn from the surroundings likewise these books helped the children in concentrating, imagining, thinking, and memorizing the books. This can be one of the best way to integrate the creativity with the knowledge system Further more i am associated with social work from past 2.5 years, I am teaching near about 80 children at Dubagga slum earlier i was following my own criteria of teaching subjects but after knowing Global Dream Each One Teach One concept, i started using this method which made teaching so easy for me that children themselves wants to teach their class friends, they are not only a student but also leading class as a teacher,even they are transferring the knowledge to their family members too. Because I m only equipped with Hindi toolkit therefore would like to further introduce and implement the resources and technical support of Global Dream at Twinkle learning center. All the Best

I am representing YES FOUNDATION which has been working on Youth development and education since 2012. We are running a learning centre namely “Twinkle: every child is born to shine” which educates the children of migrant labors who come from far and wide areas to work in the ever growing city of Lucknow. Our Twinkle learning centre has an enrollment of 100 students from the age group of 5 - 14 years of age.
We are also giving them one time nutrition and cheering them with games as well.
We have categorized them into two sections based on their performance by allotting two teachers to give attentive session to each and every single one of them.
We have also successfully enrolled 60 students in government colleges as well. As we want them to be at par with every other normal student.
We are also attaching the reports of the changes which we are able to make in their lives.
It’s been a year since the centre was getting donation and crowd fund. Now, we are finding it difficult to continue due to lack of interest shown by the people. Their educational career will turn into topsy and turvy, if sufficient donation isn’t meted out to them. Twinkle learning centre expects monitoring as well as financial assistance. In case of field visit do let us know as well.
We are attaching proposal, report of 1 year highlighting the difference which we have created in their lives along with pictures as well.

Ravi Bhayya, started the day by visiting Twinkle learning centre where he interacted with the children. He emphasized the need to give education through way of narrating stories to them since children love to hear. He also interacted with teachers and also emphasized on the need to make education interesting. He told the teachers to hold regular interactions with the children’s parents to instill a sense of interest and important of studies amongst parents as well.
