*12वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस* के उपलक्ष्य में नवयुग कन्या महाविद्यालय, राजेंद्र नगर, लखनऊ की 19 उत्तर प्रदेश गर्ल्स बटालियन एनसीसी विंग तथा दर्शन शास्त्र विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आज दिनांक 20 जून 2026 को महाविद्यालय प्रांगण में 2026 की थीम *स्वस्थ आयु के लिए योग* के अनुसार योगाभ्यास का आयोजन किया गया I जिसका संयोजन व संचालन मेजर (डॉ.) मनमीत कौर सोढी (एन.सी.सी. अधिकारी व विभागाध्यक्ष दर्शनशास्त्र) ने किया I उन्होंने भारत सरकार के आयुष मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी योग क्रम के अनुसार ही ग्रीवा, स्कन्ध चालन क्रियाओं से लेकर बैठ कर, खड़े होकर, पेट के बल लेटकर, पीठ के बल लेटकर करने वाले भुजंगासन, मकरासन, भद्रासन, वक्रासन, त्रिकोण आसन, ताड़ासन, वृक्षासन, पवनमुक्तासन, भ्रामरी, कपालभाति, अनुलोम-विलोम, ध्यान आदि का अभ्यास करवाया I सभी को यह भी अवगत कराया कि योग केवल आसन और प्राणायाम तक ही सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि यह अष्टांग मार्ग की साधना है I
योगाभ्यास का आयोजन 19 उत्तर प्रदेश गर्ल्स बटालियन एनसीसी के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर कर्नल (डॉ.) दिनेश कुमार पाठक एवं महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्य प्रोफेसर मंजुला उपाध्याय के दिशा निर्देशन में आयोजित किया गया I
योगाभ्यास में कैडेट अंडर ऑफिसर अंजलि वाजपेई, दीप्ति , प्रियांशी, आस्था त्रिपाठी, प्रीति कुमारी,वर्तिका सक्सेना, निकिता सिंह, मुस्कान साहू, निधि, अलिशा, माही, रानी, अरुंधति, रजनी , अर्पिता, निष्ठा समेत बड़ी संख्या में एन.सी.सी. कैडेट्स एवं छात्राएँ सम्मिलित हुईं I

👉This is a late post but an important one !
The 30-day Retail Sales Associate–Inventory Clerk Training Program was successfully concluded at Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Lucknow, with 50 students successfully completing the course. The program was conducted under the able guidance and leadership of Principal Professor Manjula Upadhyay, whose continuous encouragement and support contributed significantly to its successful implementation.
A valedictory ceremony was organized to mark the successful completion of the training program. On this occasion, course completion certificates were distributed to all participants. IQAC Convener-Professor Sangeeta Kotwal awarded the certificates and congratulated the students for their dedication, hard work, and successful completion of the course. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Mr. Priyank Gupta from Centum Foundation, who motivated the students with his inspiring address and encouraged them to make the best use of the skills acquired during the training.
The program was efficiently coordinated by course Co-ordinators Dr. Neha Agarwal and Dr. Pratima Ghosh, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth conduct of both the training program and the valedictory function. The event was further honored by the esteemed presence of Major Manmeet Kaur Sodhi, whose participation added dignity and significance to the occasion. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the distinguished guests, faculty members, coordinators, and students for their valuable contributions and support in making the program a grand success.

Under the aegis of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), Lucknow Group Headquarters, the *10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-218* was organized by 19 Uttar Pradesh Girls Battalion NCC under the leadership of *Commanding Officer Colonel (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar Pathak* at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, Tiwari Ganj, Lucknow from *04 June to 13 June 2026.*
The camp witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately *500 girl cadets* from various prestigious schools and colleges of Lucknow. Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Rajendra Nagar, Lucknow, actively participated in the camp with a contingent of *40 NCC cadets under the leadership of Associate NCC Officer Major (Dr.) Manmeet Kaur Sodhi.*
During the camp, cadets underwent intensive military training covering various subjects such as *Drill, Weapon Training, Map Reading, Field Craft, Battle Craft, and Field Signals*. In addition to military instruction, several educational and personality development sessions were conducted to fulfill the objectives of the NCC and to nurture responsible citizens. These sessions included *Leadership Development, Personality Development, Civil Defence, Health and Hygiene, Communication Skills, Stress Management, Time Management, and Yoga.*
Special expert lectures were also organized on important contemporary issues such as *Road Safety, Fire Safety, and the Selection Process for Officer Recruitment in the Indian Armed Forces*. These sessions provided valuable insights and career guidance to the cadets.
As part of women empowerment initiatives, a *three-day Self-Defence Workshop* was conducted by Ms. Usha Vishwakarma and her team from *Red Brigade* along with Mrs. Renuka Tandon from *Amren Foundation*. The workshop imparted practical self-defence techniques and hands-on training to the participants. A total of *12 cadets from Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya* actively participated in the programme and were awarded certificates of appreciation by the organizing institutions.
On 5 June 2026, the camp observed *World Environment Day* by organizing an awareness rally. A large number of cadets participated enthusiastically and spread the message of environmental conservation through slogans such as- 'Plant Trees, Save the Environment”, 'If There is Water, There is Tomorrow; If There is Environment, There is Life', 'Eliminate Plastic, Protect Nature'.
The camp was inspected by *Major General Gaurav Gautam, VSM, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate Uttar Pradesh,* and *Brigadier Puneet Srivastava, VSM, Group Commander, Lucknow Group Headquarters*. During the inspection, a ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented, in which cadets of Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya also participated with distinction.
Throughout the camp, various competitions were organized, and the cadets of Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya displayed outstanding performance, winning accolades and prizes in different categories.

In recognition of her *more than 34 years of exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment, discipline, patriotism, and exceptional dedication to youth development through the NCC, she was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Appreciation Certificate* by the Group Commander, NCC Lucknow Group Headquarters.
The ten-day camp concluded with the Closing Address by Camp Commandant Colonel (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar Pathak, followed by Prize Distribution and a vibrant Cultural Programme, marking the successful culmination of a highly enriching and memorable training experience for all participating cadets.
