Mount Carmel College celebrated Mother’s Day on 8th May 2026 with great joy and enthusiasm. The students of the Pre-Primary Section presented a beautiful and heartwarming programme dedicated to their mothers. The little children expressed their love and gratitude through songs, dances, and special performances that filled the atmosphere with happiness and emotion.
The students also prepared lovely handmade cards for their mothers as a token of love and appreciation. Various fun-filled activities and games were organised for the mothers, making the celebration memorable and enjoyable for everyone present.
On this special occasion, Sister Janet conveyed her heartfelt wishes to all the mothers and shared a beautiful message highlighting the importance of a mother’s love, care, and sacrifice in shaping the lives of children. Mount Carmel College Lucknow proudly participated in the B. S. Sood Memorial Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament, held at Spring Dale School, Gomti Nagar, on 20th and 21st April. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various reputed schools, making the competition both challenging and exciting.
Our team displayed exceptional determination, coordination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Each player stepped onto the court with confidence and focus, demonstrating impressive control, quick reflexes, and strategic gameplay. Their consistent efforts and strong team spirit were evident in every match they played.
The participants—Ishanya Soni (7-D), Tavisha Jain (7-B), Sanvi Srivastava (7-A), and Yogya Verma (9-D)—represented the school with great dedication and enthusiasm. They not only showcased commendable skill and perseverance but also upheld the values of discipline, respect, and fair play, truly embodying the essence of sportsmanship.
Adding to the pride of the institution, outstanding individual performances were delivered by:

The Open State Throwball Competition, held at M S International School, Bachhaon, Varanasi, from 2nd May to 4th May 2026, was a vibrant showcase of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event brought together skilled teams from across the state, each competing with determination and high competitive spirit.
Representing Mount Carmel College Lucknow with pride, the team comprising Darsh*ta Chandra (12th-A), Kaushiki Shah (11th-C), Mahima Kashyap (12th-C), Aafiya Malik (10th-B), Shasya Singh (11th-B), and Wamika Shukla delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. Their coordination on the court, quick reflexes, and strategic gameplay helped them outshine their opponents in every match.
Under the able guidance and dedicated coaching of Ms. Farheen Aleem, the team maintained discipline, focus, and confidence. Her mentorship played a crucial role in refining their skills and boosting their morale during high-pressure moments.
After a series of impressive victories, the team achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the First Position in the competition. This achievement is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and strong team spirit.

Mount Carmel College, Lucknow proudly celebrates its exceptional ICSE and ISC Examination Results 2026 with a remarkable 100% pass rate in both examinations. In ICSE, all 163 students passed successfully, with the highest score being 99.2% secured by Manukarnika Singh, while in ISC, all 106 students passed with Aroob Fatima emerging as the topper with 98.25%. The outstanding performances across Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams reflect the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of the students, along with the unwavering guidance and support of the teachers and institution. The college extends heartfelt congratulations to all achievers and encourages them to continue striving for excellence and greater success in the future.

On 28th April 2026, the school auditorium was filled with students from Classes 6 to 12 on the occasion of bidding farewell to our beloved Principal, Sister Janet Monteiro A.C., Vice Principal, Sister Jyothi Monteiro A.C., and Primary School Coordinator, Sister Monica Deep Purthy A.C.
The program began with a message by the School Student Council President, Astha Katiyar, followed by the lighting of the lamp, prayer, prayer song, and a prayer dance. Students also presented flowers and cards to the sisters as a token of their love and gratitude. Heartfelt messages were also shared by the President of the Carmel Alumni Association, Mrs. Dr. Vinita Singh, and Former School President, Zainab Qamar, expressing their deep appreciation and respect for the sisters.
The event continued with a skit, poetry recitation by Sehrish Khan and other students, and a farewell song by the Carmel Choir. In his speech, Sir Norbert Massey thanked the sisters for their invaluable contributions over the years, especially during the pandemic, the construction of the school building, and the overall growth of Carmel not only in academics but also in inter-school activities and initiatives like Carmel Studios. A video presentation showcasing cherished memories spent with the sisters added to the emotional atmosphere.
The program concluded with a grand finale and a heartfelt message from Sister Janet to the students, teachers, and staff.

On 30th April 2026, Mount Carmel College, Lucknow organized a special celebration to mark Labour Day. It was a combined program that brought together students from Nursery to Class 12, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere across the school. Class 8 took up the responsibility of organizing and managing the entire event, and they carried out their duties with great enthusiasm and coordination.
The program began on a serene and respectful note with a prayer, followed by a melodious prayer song presented by the High School Carmel Choir. This set a thoughtful tone for the celebration. The cultural segment that followed included a variety of lively and colorful dance performances by students from the Pre-Primary, Primary, and High School sections. Each performance reflected gratitude and respect for the hard work and dedication of workers, making the event both entertaining and meaningful.
A special highlight of the program was the heartfelt gesture of appreciation shown towards the workers of the school. Today, the High School section of Mount Carmel College, Lucknow celebrated Earth Day by organizing a series of engaging and creative activities. The celebration aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and encourage students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
As part of the event, a Digital Poster Making Competition on the theme “Save Earth” was conducted. Students enthusiastically participated by designing innovative and thought-provoking posters that highlighted the importance of protecting our planet, conserving natural resources, and reducing pollution.
In addition, an Advertising Competition was organized, where students created advertisements promoting the use of nature-friendly products. Through their presentations, they showcased eco-friendly alternatives and emphasized the need to shift towards sustainable and environmentally responsible choices.
The event successfully inspired students to reflect on their role in preserving the environment and reinforced the message that small steps can lead to big changes in saving our Earth.
