An engaging ‘Chinese Whispers’ activity where students passed messages in a circle, learning how small changes happen when we don’t listen carefully. At Olive Public School, we believe that the best way to teach our children about the environment is to let them experience its beauty firsthand. Today, *on Earth Day 2026,* our students participated in an inspiring celebration dedicated to our planet!
Our day began with a vibrant and educational *morning assembly* . Highlights included:
*Environmental Pledges:* Students expressed their commitment to the Earth through creative presentations and the “3 R’s” (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle).
*Eco-Awareness Quiz:* We organized a special quiz to broaden the students’ knowledge of environmental governance. They were excited to learn about the roles of key leaders, including the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and other dignitaries who shape our nation’s green policies.
To put their learning into action, our young environmentalists visited a nearby park under the careful supervision of our dedicated team. This hands-on experience included a Nature Walk, a Sapling Plantation Ceremony, and an engaging discussion on how we can keep our public spaces clean and beautiful.
We encourage you to talk to your child about what they learned and how you can implement small “green” changes at home!
