Objective to organise the Workshop on Design thinking, Critical Thinking & Innovation Design is to encourage our students as well as faculty members about entrepreneurship and start ups and to inculcate entrepreneurship skills and help them to be able to develop small and medium enterprise.
As part of the drive, session on Workshop on Design thinking, Critical Thinking & Innovation Design, was held to enlighten the students in this regard. The session was held on 08th April, 2026. The Resource persons invited was Mr. Anurag Kapoor, Vice Chairman, Arun Soil Lab, Pvt, Ltd, Lucknow. The session aimed to inspire young minds by sharing real-life experiences, challenges, and the journey to success. The event was attended by students, professionals, and aspiring innovators eager to gain insights into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. More than 40 students of Civil Engineering Department participated in this session.

The Department of Biotechnology Engineering, under the flagship of the Innovation Cell, GITM, successfully organized an insightful Exposure Visit to the Technology Transfer Center at CSIR–National Botanical Research Institute (CSIR-NBRI).

The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore the practical aspects of technology transfer, commercialization of research, and industry-oriented innovations in the field of plant biotechnology and allied sciences. Experts at the center shared their knowledge on how scientific research is translated into real-world applications, benefiting society and industry.

Students gained first-hand exposure to advanced technologies, incubation support systems, and entrepreneurial pathways, inspiring them to think beyond academics and move towards innovation-driven careers. The interaction sessions were highly engaging and encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of research-to-market strategies.

Such initiatives play a crucial role in nurturing young minds, fostering innovation, and strengthening the connection between academia and industry.
