As a part of the beyond Kaiserbagh excursion, the boys were taken to the Chateau de Lyon, better known as the Farhat Baksh Kothi. The building is not just important for being the only example of a building base on Venetian architectural principles (in which architecture is dependent and closely linked with a water body) in the city but also because of its unique relation with the school. The Chateau in every way is a forerunner to the final engineering project of Claude Martin- the majestic Constantia.
Recent initiatives of refurbishment and excavations in progress were keenly observed by the pupils and appreciated.
