🚽 HOW MANY DIFFERENT NAMES FOR “TOILET” DO YOU KNOW? 🤯

Did you know that English has MANY different words for a toilet—and the word you use can depend on the country, place, and situation! 🌍

🇺🇸 Restroom – Common in the USA for public toilets
🇺🇸 Bathroom – Very common in American English
🇮🇳 Washroom – Commonly used in India and Canada
✈️ Lavatory – Common on airplanes and trains
🇬🇧 Loo – Informal British English
🚻 WC (Water Closet) – Seen on signs and in formal usage
🏠 Powder Room – A small guest toilet, usually without a shower/bathtub
👨 Gents / Men's Room – For men
👩 Ladies / Ladies' Room – For women
🏕️ Outhouse – A toilet located outside the main building
🚻 Portable Toilet – A temporary/mobile toilet
