A POCSO awareness session was conducted for the students of Grades 3 to 5 on 11th August 2026 at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Kursi Road Campus. The session was led by Dr. Sonia Bhat Vyas and was organized under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Harpreet Rekhi. The objective of the session was to educate young learners about personal safety, body awareness, and their rights in an age-appropriate manner.

About the Session -
Dr. Sonia Bhat Vyas engaged the students in an interactive and sensitive discussion focusing on three key aspects: “My Body, My Safety, My Voice.”

The key points covered during the session were:
1. My Body: Students were taught about different parts of the body and the concept of “good touch” and “bad touch”. They learned that their body belongs to them and that they have the right to feel safe.
2. My Safety: Children were made aware that they have the right to say “No” if they feel uncomfortable. They were encouraged to make safe choices and respect their own boundaries as well as those of others.
3. My Voice: Students were empowered to speak up. They were taught that they can always share with a trusted adult - parents, teachers, or school counselor - if anything makes them feel unsafe or uncomfortable. The importance of not keeping secrets that hurt was also emphasized.

Dr. Sonia used stories, simple examples, and age-appropriate language to ensure that the message was clear and not fearful for the young students. Students participated actively by asking questions and sharing their understanding.

The school expresses sincere gratitude to Dr. Sonia Bhat Vyas for conducting the session with such clarity and sensitivity, and to Principal Mrs. Harpreet Rekhi for her continuous support in organizing programs that focus on the safety and well-being of students.

THE MILLENNIUM SPORTS CUP – A GLORIOUS VICTORY! 🏆

We are delighted to share the remarkable achievement of our young athletes at The Millennium Sports Cup, held at The Millennium School on 7th and 8th August 2026.

Our students participated in Football and Basketball across the Under-14 and Under-19 categories, demonstrating exceptional teamwork, discipline, determination and true sporting spirit.

This remarkable achievement was accomplished under the able guidance and leadership of our Principal, Ms. Harpreet Rekhi, whose constant encouragement and support continue to inspire our young athletes to strive for excellence.

FOOTBALL – TEAM A
Led by Captain Ansh Kanojia, Team A delivered an outstanding performance:

🏅 Quarter-Final: Defeated Vishwanath Academy, Barha – 3–1
🏅 League Match: Defeated Millennium School – 6–0
🏅 Semi-Final: Defeated Vishwanath Academy, Aishbagh – 3–1
🏆 Final: Defeated Achievers School – 3–0

TEAM A emerged as the CHAMPIONS and lifted the Championship Title!

We also proudly acknowledge Team B, led by Captain Yusuf Raza, for their enthusiastic participation, sportsmanship and commendable efforts.

A huge round of applause to our Football and Basketball teams for making our school proud!
