राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय में प्रेस वार्ता, साझा की गईं प्रमुख उपलब्धियाँ!

राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय ने आज विश्वविद्यालय की पिछले कुछ वर्षों की प्रगति और विकास से मीडिया को अवगत कराने के लिए एक प्रेस वार्ता आयोजित की।

कुलपति प्रो. भृगु नाथ सिंह ने मीडिया के समक्ष एक प्रस्तुति देते हुए विश्वविद्यालय की प्रमुख उपलब्धियों की जानकारी दी। प्रो. सिंह ने छात्र संख्या में वृद्धि, शोध उत्पादन, संकाय शक्ति, अवसंरचना और संस्थागत साझेदारियों से जुड़े आंकड़े साझा किए। उन्होंने बताया कि विश्वविद्यालय, जो पूरी तरह से विमानन और वैमानिकी एवं संबद्ध क्षेत्र को समर्पित भारत का पहला और एकमात्र केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय है, विगत वर्षों में शिक्षा, शोध, अवसंरचना और उद्योग सहयोग के क्षेत्रों में निरंतर तथा तीव्र गति से विकास कर रहा है, और विकसित भारत@2047 की परिकल्पना के अनुरूप भारत के विमानन तंत्र में एक महत्वपूर्ण संस्थान के रूप में उभर रहा है।

इस अवसर पर प्रिंट मीडिया, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया, डिजिटल मीडिया एवं राष्ट्रीय मीडिया के पत्रकार उपस्थित रहे। उनके साथ वार्ता के दौरान प्रो. सिंह ने ये भी कहा कि ये उपलब्धियां विश्वविद्यालय के आठ रणनीतिक स्तंभों पर आधारित हैं; लचीले शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम, नवोन्मेषी शोध एवं विकास, गुणवत्तापूर्ण संकाय एवं स्टाफ, सहयोग एवं शोध साझेदारियां, जनसंपर्क एवं प्रसार, विश्वस्तरीय अवसंरचना, कुशल प्रशासन और उत्कृष्टता की संस्कृति। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय को विमानन एवं वैमानिकी क्षेत्र में एक वैश्विक उत्कृष्टता केंद्र बनाने के लिए विश्वविद्यालय समुदाय पूरी शक्ति से प्रयासरत है।

RGNAU Holds Press Meet to Highlight Key Achievements!

Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) held a press meet today to brief the media on the university's progress and development over the past few years.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Bhrigu Nath Singh gave a presentation to the media, walking through the University's key achievements. Prof. Singh shared data on student growth, research output, faculty strength, infrastructure and institutional partnerships. He noted that RGNAU, India’s first and only Central University dedicated exclusively to aviation, aerospace and allied disciplines, has seen rapid, sustained growth over the past few years across academics, research, infrastructure and industry collaboration, and is emerging as a key institution in India's aviation ecosystem in line with the vision of a Viksit Bharat@2047.

While interacting with the media, Prof. Singh said these achievements rest on RGNAU's eight strategic pillars, namely flexible academic programmes, innovative R&D, quality faculty and staff, collaboration and research partnerships, outreach and dissemination, world-class infrastructure, efficient governance, and a culture of excellence. He said the university community is putting in every effort to make RGNAU a global centre of aviation and aerospace excellence.

Welcoming the Next Generation of Aviation Leaders ✈️

Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) warmly welcomed its new batch of students at the Induction and Orientation Programme 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey in aviation and allied sectors.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Bhrigu Nath Singh, Vice Chancellor, RGNAU, and Chief Guest Shri Ravi Prakash, Executive Director, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Korba, who inspired the newly inducted students to pursue excellence, embrace innovation and prepare themselves for the rapidly evolving aviation industry.

Students have joined the B.Tech programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (Avionics), and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science during the current academic session.

As the new cohort begins its journey, RGNAU looks forward to nurturing their ideas, skills and aspirations and preparing them to be the future leaders and innovators of the aviation sector.

राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय ने इंडक्शन एवं ओरिएंटेशन कार्यक्रम 2026 के माध्यम से नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों के नए शैक्षणिक सफर का उत्साहपूर्वक स्वागत किया। यह कार्यक्रम विमानन एवं संबद्ध क्षेत्रों में उनके उज्ज्वल करियर की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण शुरुआत का प्रतीक रहा।

उद्घाटन समारोह में प्रो. (डॉ.) भृगु नाथ सिंह, कुलपति तथा मुख्य अतिथि श्री रवि प्रकाश (कार्यकारी निदेशक, हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड, कोरबा) ने नवप्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों का मार्गदर्शन किया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को उत्कृष्टता के लिए निरंतर प्रयास करने, नवाचार को अपनाने तथा तेजी से विकसित हो रहे विमानन उद्योग की बदलती आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप स्वयं को तैयार करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

वर्तमान शैक्षणिक सत्र में छात्रों ने एयरोस्पेस इंजीनियरिंग, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं कम्युनिकेशन इंजीनियरिंग (एवियोनिक्स) तथा आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस एवं डेटा साइंस के बी.टेक. कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश लिया है।

विश्वविद्यालय का यह नया बैच अब ज्ञान, कौशल, नवाचार और नेतृत्व की अपनी यात्रा की शुरुआत कर रहा है। विश्वविद्यालय विद्यार्थियों की प्रतिभा, विचारों और आकांक्षाओं को संवारते हुए उन्हें विमानन क्षेत्र के भावी नेतृत्वकर्ताओं और नवाचारकर्ताओं के रूप में तैयार करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में गूंजा राष्ट्रप्रेम का स्वर!

राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय (RGNAU) में 80वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस देशभक्ति, उत्साह एवं राष्ट्रीय गौरव की भावना के साथ मनाया गया। समारोह का शुभारंभ माननीय कुलपति प्रो. भृगु नाथ सिंह द्वारा ध्वजारोहण के साथ हुआ। इस अवसर पर प्रो. सिंह ने सभी को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ दीं तथा देश की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर करने वाले वीर स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों को भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।

अपने संबोधन में प्रो. सिंह ने विश्वविद्यालय की विकास यात्रा, विकसित भारत के निर्माण के प्रति विश्वविद्यालय की प्रतिबद्धता, शैक्षणिक सहयोग, राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप अनुभवात्मक एवं व्यावहारिक शिक्षा तथा विमानन शिक्षा, अनुसंधान एवं नवाचार के क्षेत्र में विश्वविद्यालय को वैश्विक केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करने पर प्रकाश डाला।

समारोह के अंतर्गत एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें:
• RGNAU के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा भरतनाट्यम, देशभक्ति गीत, भाषण, कविता एवं वाद्य संगीत की प्रस्तुतियाँ दी गईं।
• राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज, फुरसतगंज के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा मानव पिरामिड का शानदार प्रदर्शन किया गया।
• राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज एवं दयानंद किसान विद्यालय, फुरसतगंज के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा देशभक्ति नृत्य प्रस्तुतियाँ दी गईं।
• RGNAU परिसर समुदाय के छोटे बच्चों द्वारा विशेष नृत्य प्रस्तुतियाँ दी गईं।

इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों, संकाय सदस्यों, प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों, सुरक्षा कर्मियों एवं विश्वविद्यालय परिसर समुदाय ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की। समारोह का समापन विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं एवं प्रस्तुतियों में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाली टीमों और प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार एवं सम्मान प्रदान करके किया गया।

80th Independence Day Celebrated at RGNAU!

Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour. The celebration began with Flag Hoisting by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Bhrigu Nath Singh.

On the occasion, Prof. Singh extended warm Independence Day greetings to everyone and paid heartfelt tribute to the freedom fighters. In his address, Prof. Singh also highlighted RGNAU’s journey, its commitment to Viksit Bharat, academic collaborations, NEP 2020-aligned experiential learning, and the University’s vision and roadmap to emerge as a global hub for aviation education, research and innovation.

The celebrations included a vibrant Cultural Programme featuring:
• Bharatanatyam, patriotic songs, speech, poem and Instrumental melodies presented by RGNAU Students.
• Human Pyramid by Government Inter College (GIC), Fursatganj students.
• Patriotic dance performances by GIC & Dayanand Kisan Vidyalaya, Fursatganj students.
• Special dance performances by children from the RGNAU campus community.

Students, faculty members, administrative officers, staff, security personnel and the campus community joined the programme. The programme concluded with prize distribution and recognition of participating teams and performers for their enthusiasm and creativity.

‘हर घर तिरंगा’ रैली में राष्ट्र गौरव और देशभक्ति का गूंजा संदेश!

राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय ने 80वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह के पूर्व विश्वविद्यालय परिसर एवं आसपास के ग्राम क्षेत्र में जीवंत ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ रैली का आयोजन किया। रैली का नेतृत्व माननीय कुलपति प्रो. भृगु नाथ सिंह ने किया। उनके साथ वरिष्ठ संकाय सदस्य, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी, विद्यार्थी, कर्मचारी एवं सुरक्षा कर्मियों ने पूरे उत्साह और देशभक्ति की भावना के साथ रैली में भाग लिया। राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज (GIC), फुरसतगंज के विद्यार्थियों ने भी रैली में सहभागिता कर सामुदायिक सहभागिता, राष्ट्रीय एकता और देशभक्ति के उत्साह को और सशक्त बनाया।

RGNAU Community Participates in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Rally!

Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) organised a vibrant ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally in the vicinity of the University campus and the adjoining village area, ahead of the 80th Independence Day celebrations.

The rally was led by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bhrigu Nath Singh, accompanied by senior faculty members, administrative officers, students, staff, and security personnel, who joined the rally with great enthusiasm. Students from Government Inter College (GIC), Fursatganj, also participated in the rally, adding to the spirit of community engagement and national pride.

We are delighted to share that Dr. Aditi Srivastava, Assistant Professor, Department of Aviation Science, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), has been awarded the International Travel Grant by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

The grant will support Dr. Srivastava’s participation in the 23rd IFAC World Congress, to be held in Busan, Republic of Korea, from August 23–28, 2026, where she will present her research work on an international platform.

The IFAC World Congress is the flagship triennial event in 'Control Systems', unifying all conferences and workshops under the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC). The upcoming World Congress, a cornerstone of the control community since 1960, will be held in Busan, Republic of Korea, from August 23–28, 2026.

Anusandhan National Research Foundation - ANRF

📝 Research Publication: A research paper co-authored by Prof. (Dr.) Manish Sharma (Professor and Dean at School of Engineering & Technology, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University) has been published in Health Information Science and Systems by Springer Nature with an 'Impact Factor of 4.4'.

Paper Title - “PLETHSOMNet: Automated Identification of Insomnia Using Deep Neural Network Technique with Photoplethysmography (PPG) Signals”

The research work explores deep learning techniques to find the possibility of automatically identifying insomnia from PPG signals. The study uses data from the Cyclic Alternating Pattern (CAP) sleep database and examines PPG segments of different durations.

#हरघरतिरंगा 2026 | नन्ही प्रतिभाओं में उभरा देशभक्ति का रंग 🇮🇳

राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय (आरजीएनएयू) द्वारा प्राथमिक विद्यालय तरौना के कक्षा 1 से 5 तक के विद्यार्थियों के लिए ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ थीम पर चित्रकला एवं पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया।

इस दौरान विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. भृगु नाथ सिंह ने युवा कलाकारों द्वारा रंगों एवं कला के माध्यम से तिरंगे के महत्व के सुंदर चित्रण की सराहना की। कार्यक्रम में विशेष अतिथि के रूप में डॉ. अनूप कुमार, डीन (छात्र कल्याण), आरजीएनएयू ने प्रतिभागी विद्यार्थियों से संवाद किया और उन्हें अपनी रचनात्मकता को उत्कृष्ट रूप से प्रस्तुत करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।

प्राथमिक विद्यालय तरौना की प्रधानाचार्या सुश्री हिना कौसर, शिक्षक श्री एम.डी. शोएब खान एवं स्वतंत्रता दिवस 2026 समिति, आरजीएनएयू के सदस्यों ने भी कार्यक्रम में सहभागिता की और विद्यार्थियों का उत्साहवर्धन किया। देशभक्ति के नारों के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन किया गया।

| Celebrating Patriotism Through Art 🎨 |

Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) organised a themed Drawing & Painting Competition for young students of Classes I–V from Primary School Tarauna.

Prof. Bhrigu Nath Singh (Vice-Chancellor of RGNAU) appreciated the young artists who beautifully portrayed the significance of the Tricolour through vibrant colours and creative artwork. Joining the event as a special guest, Dr. Anup Kumar (Dean of Student Welfare, RGNAU) interacted with the enthusiastic participants and encouraged them to showcase their creativity. Principal of Primary School Tarauna Ms. Hina Kauser, and Mr. Md. Shoeab Khan (Teacher), along with members of the Independence Day 2026 Committee, RGNAU, also attended the programme.
