Amity International School proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense patriotic fervor and enthusiasm!
The grand event commenced with the honorable Principal hoisting the Tricolor, followed by the soulful rendering of the National Anthem. The campus vibrated with national pride as students showcased their talents across various patriotic competitions. A highlight of the day was an inspiring skit performed by the students, powerfully depicting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the essence of unity. The patriotic singing competition further elevated the celebratory spirit, filling every heart with devotion for the nation.

Independence Day Celebration 2026 - When Young Hearts Celebrated Freedom
With immense pride and patriotic fervour, Class III B of Amity International School, Viraj Khand-5, Lucknow celebrated Independence Day through a vibrant and memorable programme inspired by the vision and blessings of our respected Chairperson Ma’am and the constant encouragement of our Principal Ma’am. The celebration beautifully blended music, theatre, dance, thought and the spirit of India. The soulful solo performance by Rehansh of UKG set a charming tone, followed by a powerful theatrical presentation, The Tricolour Speaks, which brought alive the courage and sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters. The Inter-House Dance Drama Competition further transformed the stage into a celebration of patriotism, creativity and youthful energy. Bhagirathi House emerged as the proud winner, while Mandakini House and Pawani House secured the second position jointly. The celebration concluded with an engaging TED-style presentation and quiz, leaving everyone with a powerful reminder: freedom is our legacy, but responsibility is our contribution to the nation.

Freedom was won in 1947. The responsibility to make it meaningful is renewed every day.
As India celebrates its 80th Independence Day, we salute not only the courage that liberated a nation but also the spirit that continues to propel it forward. From a country finding its feet after colonial rule to a nation making its mark in science, technology, enterprise, culture and global leadership, India’s journey is a testimony to resilience and aspiration.

🏆 Inter-House Football Competition Kicks Off at Amity International School, Viraj Khand!The sports field at Amity International School, Viraj Khand, Lucknow, buzzed with electric energy , on July 31st, as students kicked off the much-awaited Inter-House Football Competition! ⚽🔥It was a day filled with intense grit, extraordinary sportsmanship, and high-octane action. In the Boys' category, Alaknanda House clinched a thrilling 1–0 victory against Mandakini House. The Girls' category saw an edge-of-the-seat thriller between Pawani House and Bhagirathi House, which was ultimately decided by a tense penalty shootout, where Bhagirathi House emerged triumphant (1–0).Our respected Principal, Mrs. Rachna Mishra, graced the event to cheer on the young athletes, praising their teamwork, passion, and competitive spirit.Kudos to all the houses, student players, and the Sports Department for a sensational tournament opening! 🎉👏

Our young artists showcased their imagination and artistic skills during the Mask Making Activity in the Visual Arts class. With vibrant colours, unique designs, and boundless creativity, students transformed simple materials into expressive works of art.
This engaging activity encouraged self-expression, enhanced fine motor skills, and inspired innovative thinking while making learning fun and meaningful.
