d-Tubocurarine — Classic Non-depolarizing Neuromuscular Blocker 💉

🔹 Acts as a competitive antagonist at Nm (nicotinic) receptors
🔹 Blocks acetylcholine (ACh) from binding at the neuromuscular junction
🔹 Prevents end-plate depolarization → no muscle contraction
🔹 Leads to flaccid paralysis (muscles become relaxed)
🔹 Paralysis sequence: small muscles → limbs → respiratory muscles ⚠️
🔹 Effect can be reversed by anticholinesterases (↑ACh levels)

👉 Used during surgery for muscle relaxation & intubation support.
