The final piece of the puzzle falls into place. We are proud to present our Surprise Committee of CMS Station Road MUN 2026 ~ The Lok Sabha.
βThe ballot is the voice of the people but who gets to cast it?β
At the very heart of every democracy lies the sanctity of its electoral process. As concerns surrounding electoral roll verification, illegal migration, voter registration practices, and democratic representation continue to spark national discourse, delegates of the Lok Sabha will be entrusted with the responsibility of navigating one of the most sensitive and consequential issues facing the nation today.
This committee calls for rigorous debate, legislative acumen, and a deep understanding of the delicate balance between national security, constitutional rights, and democratic integrity. With the future of representation under scrutiny, delegates must rise above partisanship to safeguard the principles upon which the world's largest democracy stands.

The most consequential conversations are seldom expected.
Beyond the committees already unveiled lies another challenge waiting to emerge.
The question is not what it is?
but whether you are prepared for it.

Agenda β Journalism, Photography & Caricature.
In every conference, resolutions are drafted, alliances are forged, and history quietly takes shape. Yet beyond the speeches and negotiations lies another force one that observes, questions, and records.
The International Press occupies a unique position within diplomacy. Neither bound by national interests nor constrained by voting blocs, it exists to scrutinise, document, and interpret the events unfolding before it. Through journalism, narratives are constructed; through photography, moments are immortalised; and through caricature, power itself is subjected to satire and critique.
As delegates compete to shape the course of debate, the press shapes something equally enduring: perception. For history is rarely remembered exactly as it occurred, but as it was recorded.
The question, therefore, is not merely who will lead the discourse, but who will tell its story.

The silence between allies grows louder than the sound of war itself.
Lines are being drawn, loyalties are being tested, and behind closed doors, decisions capable of altering the global balance await deliberation.
Some alliances defend peace.
Others decide its price.
The agenda of the committee shall be disclosed 14 days prior to the conference.

Europe prides itself on the ideals of unity, democracy, and
human dignity, yet beneath these principles persists a growing
wave of discrimination that continues to marginalise minority
communities.
Anti-Roma prejudice, Islamophobia, and xenophobic rhetoric
have evolved far beyond isolated acts of intolerance, embedding
themselves within political discourse, social structures, and
public consciousness. What begins as exclusion soon manifests
as restricted opportunities, fractured identities, and a climate
where fear is normalised under the guise of national interest.
In societies shaped by diversity, the failure to protect minority
rights does not merely threaten vulnerable communities; it
undermines the very democratic foundations upon which the
European Union stands. As polarisation deepens and cultural
divides widen, the challenge before the international
community is not simply to condemn discrimination, but to
confront the systems that continue to sustain it.
For when intolerance is allowed to coexist with governance,
unity itself becomes an illusion.

Borders are often defended in the language of sovereignty, while the lives displaced by them are reduced to statistics, detentions, and silence.
As immigration and deportation measures intensify, the line between national security and humanitarian responsibility grows increasingly fragile. Beneath policies framed as control unfold realities marked by fractured families, uncertain futures, and the quiet erosion of dignity endured by migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
What begins as legislation within courtrooms and borders soon extends far beyond them, shaping the lives of those compelled to navigate systems where protection is conditional and humanity itself becomes politicised. The rhetoric of exclusion thrives not merely through walls and restrictions, but through fear, prejudice, and the normalisation of displacement.
In a world built upon the promise of universal human rights, the question remains: can justice truly exist when compassion itself becomes subject to borders?

The sea has long ceased to be a mere passage of trade; it is
now a theatre of power, conflict, and calculated disruption.
As instability deepens across the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden,
and the Strait of Hormuz, maritime routes that sustain the
global economy stand increasingly vulnerable to piracy,
terrorism, armed confrontation, and strategic coercion.
Commercial vessels traverse waters no longer governed solely
by international law, but by the fragile balance between
security and sovereignty.
Beneath discussions of naval patrols and shipping corridors
lies a more pressing reality: when conflict infiltrates the seas,
its consequences are never confined to borders alone. Trade
falters, economies destabilise, and diplomacy is tested by the
weight of competing national interests.
The question, therefore, is no longer whether the international
community recognises the threat, but whether collective
security can prevail before these waters become pathways not
of commerce, but of crisis.
