The Junior Section Investiture Ceremony was conducted with dignity and pride, marking the formal induction of the newly appointed Student Council members. The student leaders were bes bestowed with badges by the Respected Principal Ma' am am, Junior Section In-charge Ma'am, and Coordinators. They took the oath, pledging to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, integrity, discipline, and dedication, while upholding the values and dignity of the school. Principal Ma'am addressed the newly appointed leaders with inspiring Words of Wisdom, encouraging them to lead by example, serve others with humility, and fulfill every responsibility with commitment and excellence. The ceremony marked the beginning of their journey as responsible young leaders.

Students of Class II A5 enthusiastically explored the fascinating journey of the Indian Flag from 1906 to 1947. 🇮🇳 Through this engaging activity, they learned about the evolution of the Tiranga, the contributions of inspiring leaders, and the significance of the Ashoka Chakra. The activity nurtured a deeper sense of patriotism and helped students appreciate the values of courage, unity, freedom, and pride in our nation. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳✨

Raghavendra and Kiara participated in a spoken English activity based on the importance of Independence Day. They engaged in a meaningful conversation about India’s freedom, the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, and the importance of being responsible citizens. The activity helped them express their thoughts confidently, improve their vocabulary, and develop their communication and listening skills. It also enhanced their awareness and appreciation of the significance of Independence Day.

Students of Grade 4-F enjoyed a fun-filled Fireless Cooking activity under the guidance of Ms. Jyoti Gupta. They prepared delicious Bhelpuri, learning about nutrition, healthy eating, teamwork, creativity, and food preparation. The students also shared their creation with the helper staff, spreading joy and the values of kindness, sharing, and gratitude.

As part of the chapter 'Democratic Government', students participated in an engaging mock election to understand the election process through experiential learning.

Using a handmade EVM, ballot papers and a ballot box, students experienced different methods of voting and learnt how citizens elect their representatives. They also explored voter eligibility, Voter ID and the importance of making an informed choice.

The activity encouraged students to value their right to vote, respect others’ choices and understand the importance of equality, participation and responsible citizenship in a democracy.

Our Primary Section celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm

The celebration was a vibrant blend of patriotism, creativity and confidence, as young CMS students came together to honour the nation and celebrate the spirit of freedom. The programme commenced with the Welcome Address, School Prayer and National Pledge, followed by an inspiring Address by the Principal.

The young learners captivated the audience with soulful patriotic renditions including “Sare Jahan Se Achha,” “Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawan,” “As We Gather” and “Ae Watan, Mere Watan.” The celebrations further showcased the talents of students through Inter-House Hindi and English Recitation, Pride Walk, Inter-House Declamation and Speech Competition.

Adding colour and energy to the occasion, students of Classes III–V presented “Patriotism in Rhythm,” a spirited group dance celebrating the love and pride associated with our motherland.

The programme concluded with the Principal’s blessings and announcement of results, leaving everyone inspired by the values of unity, courage, responsibility and love for the nation.

The celebration beautifully reflected the CMS commitment to nurturing confident, compassionate and responsible young citizens who carry the spirit of patriotism in their hearts.
