The vibrant spirit of Onam, Kerala's beloved harvest festival, came alive at St. Thomas School, Loni through a colourful and heartwarming Special Assembly presented by the students of Class IV.

Dressed in traditional attire, our young Thomasanians celebrated the rich cultural heritage of India through captivating performances, melodious songs, graceful dances, and informative presentations highlighting the significance of Onam and the legendary tale of King Mahabali.

The assembly beautifully conveyed the timeless values of unity, gratitude, prosperity, and togetherness, reminding everyone that festivals are a celebration of our shared traditions and cultural diversity.

विचारों की शक्ति, शब्दों की प्रभावशीलता और राष्ट्र निर्माण के प्रति युवाओं की जिम्मेदारी को मंच प्रदान करते हुए St. Thomas School, Loni में कक्षा IX एवं X के विद्यार्थियों के लिए अंतर सदन हिन्दी भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया।

🎤 विषय:
"युवा शक्ति और राष्ट्र निर्माण: हमारी भूमिका और भविष्य"

प्रतिभागियों ने आत्मविश्वास, प्रभावशाली वक्तृत्व कला और सारगर्भित तर्कों के माध्यम से अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए। विद्यार्थियों ने देश के विकास में युवाओं की भूमिका, जिम्मेदार नागरिकता, नेतृत्व, नवाचार और सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर अपने दृष्टिकोण साझा किए।

Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of love, care, and the promise to protect. This beautiful message came alive through a heartfelt Special Assembly presented by the students of Class IV at St. Thomas School, Loni.
Moving beyond the traditional bond between siblings, our young Thomasanians highlighted the importance of the countless protectors who safeguard our lives every day. Through inspiring performances and thoughtful presentations, they paid tribute to our soldiers who defend the nation, farmers who nourish us, doctors who care for our health, and Mother Nature, whose protection is essential for the future of humanity.
The assembly beautifully conveyed that true protection is rooted in gratitude, responsibility, and compassion. It reminded everyone that Raksha Bandhan is not just about tying a thread—it is about strengthening the bonds of care and respect that connect us all.

Words have the power to inspire change, and our young Thomasanians proved just that at the Inter-House Debate Competition for Classes XI & XII.

🎙️ Topic: "Youth Mental Health should be treated as a public health crisis rather than an individual responsibility."

With well-researched arguments, confident delivery, and thought-provoking perspectives, participants engaged in a meaningful discussion on one of the most pressing issues of our time. The competition encouraged students to think critically, communicate effectively, and advocate for a more empathetic and supportive society.
