२७ फेब्रुवारी हा दिवस आपल्या मायबोलीचा सन्मान करण्याचा आणि मराठी साहित्य, संस्कृती व समृद्ध वारशाचा गौरव करण्याचा विशेष दिवस. संत साहित्य, अभंग, कविता आणि विचारांनी समृद्ध असलेली मराठी भाषा आपल्याला मूल्ये, संवेदनशीलता आणि संस्कार देणारी आहे.

१,५०० ते २,००० वर्षांहून अधिक जुना इतिहास, प्राचीन साहित्यिक वारसा आणि स्वतंत्र भाषा म्हणून मराठीची वैशिष्ट्ये लक्षात घेऊन भारत सरकारने ३ ऑक्टोबर २०२४ रोजी मराठी भाषेला अधिकृतपणे 'अभिजात भाषा' (Classical Language) दर्जा प्रदान केला—हा आपल्या सर्वांसाठी मोठा अभिमानाचा क्षण आहे.
