"You Are Not Here, Yet You Remain"
You are not here — yet you remain,
In silent echoes of hidden pain.
In pride unspoken, in quiet regret,
In dreams I try so hard to forget.
You're in the scent that drifts through air,
A trace of you — still lingering there.
You are in poems I once held dear,
In every verse, your soul is near.
You are in songs that make me cry,
In empty evenings, in a crimson sky.
You’re in the hush of twilight’s grace,
In lonely walks, I see your face.
You are not here — yet every part
Of this still world holds you in heart.
In sleepless nights, in falling rain,
In midnight tears I can't explain.
Your absence stretches, wide and deep,
Yet in that void, your shadows sleep.
You are not here — and still, you stay,
In every breath I give away.
You are not — and yet you are —
A silent wish, a distant star.
Not with me, yet never gone,
You live in me, and you live on.
