Well-Being Associates Badge Ceremony

A special assembly was held on 23 June 2026 to formally introduce the Student Support Associates for the academic session 2026–27 of the Well-Being Centre. Students from Classes IX to XII were entrusted with the important responsibility of promoting peer support, fostering positive relationships, encouraging teamwork, and serving as a bridge between students and the school leadership.

During the assembly, badges were conferred upon the selected members by the Principal, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, the Senior School Headmistress, Ms Gargi Mukherjee, and the Junior School Headmistress, Ms Keka Mukherjee. The occasion underscored the school’s commitment to student well-being, inclusivity, and collaborative problem-solving.

In a separate ceremony held during Break 2 in the Conference Room, the Well-Being Committee members of Classes VI to X, functioning under the Student Support Associates, were presented with their badges by the Senior Stage and Middle Stage Coordinators, Ms Subechyya Chatterjee and Ms Debjani Kundu respectively. These students were entrusted with the responsibility of fostering a culture of empathy, mutual respect, and peer support within their respective classes.

The ceremony marked the beginning of a meaningful journey for all the student associates as they pledged to contribute towards creating a supportive, caring, and positive school environment.

MCKV extends heartfelt congratulations to Kanishk Kumar Dokania (11B) on his remarkable achievement at the Heritage School Model United Nations 2026 held from 17 to 19 June 2026.

Demonstrating exceptional research, diplomacy, and debating skills, Kanishk earned the prestigious Special Mention Award in the AIPPM Committee.

We all are proud of his outstanding performance and wish him continued success in all his future endeavours.

MCKVians join International Yoga Day 2026 Celebrations

Sixteen students of Class 8 from M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth participated in the 12th International Yoga Day Celebration at the Indian Museum on 21 June 2026.

The programme began with a captivating World Music Day performance featuring a sitar and tabla presentation. Students then took part in an engaging yoga session conducted by The Art of Living, where yoga was introduced through storytelling. A unique presentation of the traditional Raibenshe dance blended with yoga added colour and cultural vibrancy to the event.

The celebration provided students with a memorable opportunity to embrace wellness, mindfulness, and cultural appreciation.

We are delighted to receive the Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of AYUSH in recognition of the successful observance of the 12th International Day of Yoga.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants whose enthusiastic involvement made this celebration a grand success. Your commitment to promoting health, wellness, and the spirit of yoga is truly commendable.
