Voices for Inclusion: A Street Play on Inclusive Education

On 19 August 2026, MCKV organised a street play ( Pathonatok) on Inclusive Education. Staged twice before the student and parent body, the play portrayed a child facing exclusion for being different and highlighted the importance of acceptance, respect, and equal opportunities. Through the Sutradhar (narrator), relatable characters, dialogues, poetry, and live songs, the performance conveyed its message with simplicity and emotional impact. Fourteen students from Classes V to XI participated as actors, singers, and reciters. The engaging performances successfully held the audience’s attention and sensitised the fraternity to the values of inclusion, empathy, acceptance, and equal belonging.
