As part of their educational field visit, our students explored a World Bank-supported modern agricultural warehouse, where they learned about scientific grain storage, moisture and temperature control, quality preservation, and modern pest management techniques used to protect farmers’ produce.

The highlight of the visit was a live demonstration of an agricultural drone, showcasing how drone technology is transforming farming through precision pesticide spraying, improved efficiency, reduced labour, and sustainable agricultural practices.

As part of an enriching educational experience, the students of Sabarmati The Global School visited the historic Killari Temple, a place closely associated with the devastating 1993 Latur earthquake.

Standing at a site that witnessed one of India's most significant natural disasters gave students a deeper understanding of history beyond textbooks. The visit encouraged them to reflect on the strength, resilience, and determination of the people who rebuilt their lives after the tragedy.

Through this experience, students learned the importance of preserving history, appreciating the spirit of communities, and understanding how challenging times can inspire courage and hope. Such educational visits help nurture empathy, awareness, and a broader perspective of the world around them.
