Observance of Mahaparinirvan Diwas @ Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur.

To commemorate and pay tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, also known as "Babasaheb Ambedkar," the architect and father of the Indian Constitution, for his incalculable contributions to society, Swami Vivekanand Integration English School in Latur observed "Maharinirvan Day" on December 6, 2024.

Mahaparinirvan day, commemorated every year on 6th December, marks the death anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar to recall his exemplary service to our nation.

The state of Parinirvana is one of Buddhism's fundamental concepts. It denotes a person who has attained nirvana or freedom both during their life and after they pass away. Achieving nirvana after death or the liberation of the soul from the body after death is referred to as Parinirvan in Sanskrit. The word "Parinibbana," which means the accomplishment of nirvana, is used in Pali.

The program was started by lighting candles and garlanding the photo of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar by the Chief Guest Shri. Vikas Labade Sir, Principal, accompanied by Shri. Sanjay Biradar Sir, Academic Incharge, Mr. Dattatray Ohal Sir, Cultural Committee Head, Mr. Mukteshwar Khobare Sir, Assembly Committee Head and Smt. Varsha Labade Mam, Asst. Committee Head of the Assembly.

Hon'ble Chief Guest Shri. Vikas Labade Sir Principal gave an introductory speech enlightening the view and contributions of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and his struggle against caste inequalities.

On this occasion, both teachers and students participated in different activities. Mr. Vijay Sarwade sir recited a poem depicting the invaluable works wrought by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Smt. Kanchan Shastri Mam sung a melodious song on Babasaheb Ambedkar ji. Students from distinct classes gave speeches and recited poems to mark this day memorable one.

The entire school, all teaching and non-teaching staff, attended the program. The programme culminated with the feeling of oneness and equality put forward by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a social reformer, who championed equality and justice.

The entire program was emceed and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Mayuri Bhosle mam.

It's a matter of great joy and privilege to announce that the bravehearts of Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur participated in different Games & Competitions, held at MIT-WORLD PEACE SCHOOL, Latur, and exhibited their talents, whereby brought glory and laurels to the school.

Children from six renowned schools in Latur participated in the games and competitions. Among them, SVIES stood first in most categories.

All the winners were appreciated for their exuberance and marvelous performance by our hon'ble Principal, Shri. Vikas Labade sir, Academic Incharge Shri Sanjay Biradar sir and Shri. Omprakash Shastri ji, Yoga Trainer.

We greatly value the lone labor of love and invaluable hard work of the Pre-Primary teachers - Ms. Varsha Labade mam, Ms. Meenakshi Sh*tole mam and Ms. Pooja Mundhe, mam. Their collaborative and fervent effort is highly appreciable.

"National Panchayati Raj Day" Celebration.

National Panchayati Raj Day was celebrated on 24th April at Swami Vivekanand Integration School. It is celebrated on 24 th April, everyyear.
For this program, the principal of the school, Shri. Sachchidanand Joshi, vice-principal, Smt. Dr. Asha Joshi, Mr. Arun Shirure, Mr. Mahesh Tiwari were present. On this occasion, social science teacher Mr. Mahesh Tiwari conveyed the importance of Panchayati Raj Day to the students. The students of class V and VI presented a play on Panchayati Raj. The theme of this drama was the problems faced by the villagers in the Gram Sabha and the assurance is given to the villagers that the sarpanch and members will try to solve their problems. Gram Panchayat, Gram Sabha local administration system and its function or purpose of play presented by Shraddha Hodade, Priyanka Barkule, Harsha Patri, Arohi Sontakke, Pratik Hedgire, Vaishnavi Pendharkar, Anushka Amangi, Siddhi Mane, Devraj Susalade Balaji Ganne and Ananya Poddar. The play was directed by Ms. Rajkanya Srirame. Hon'ble principal Shri. Sachchidanand Joshi sir gave valuable information about the National Panchayati Raj Day and praised all the students who were participated in the play and concluded the program.

*Swami Integration English School Latur*

*Celebration of World Heritage Day.*

Towards Celebration of *World Heritage Day* SVIES Latur organised an educursion to famous historical & archelogical museum at Ter, Dist - Dharashiv Maharashtra. It has three blocks. Students got an opportunity of Experiential learning by observing and noting about see beads, pottery, shell bangles, ivory objects, stone grinders , Chariot wheels, sculptures of 2nd century's.This the contributions of late Shri. Ramlingappa - A great Archeologist. We also learnt that in ancient time *Ter* was famous for trading with foreign countries in ancient period.

Next Students also visited the *Ashram cm Temple of great Saint of our own Maharashtra His holiness St. GOROBA KAKA* that is situated on the bank of *Terna River*

It was a great joyful and explorable learning experiences for teachers as well as taught.

We express our hearty gratitude to the Officials of Museum for their keen guidance. We are highly obliged to Respected Principal Sir & School Management for giving us permission for such a wonderful trip as well as Dr Joshi, Vice- Principal Ma'am for her inspirational briefing before our set out. 🙏
