Observance of Mahaparinirvan Diwas @ Swami Vivekanand Integration English School, Latur.
To commemorate and pay tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, also known as "Babasaheb Ambedkar," the architect and father of the Indian Constitution, for his incalculable contributions to society, Swami Vivekanand Integration English School in Latur observed "Maharinirvan Day" on December 6, 2024.
Mahaparinirvan day, commemorated every year on 6th December, marks the death anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar to recall his exemplary service to our nation.
The state of Parinirvana is one of Buddhism's fundamental concepts. It denotes a person who has attained nirvana or freedom both during their life and after they pass away. Achieving nirvana after death or the liberation of the soul from the body after death is referred to as Parinirvan in Sanskrit. The word "Parinibbana," which means the accomplishment of nirvana, is used in Pali.
The program was started by lighting candles and garlanding the photo of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar by the Chief Guest Shri. Vikas Labade Sir, Principal, accompanied by Shri. Sanjay Biradar Sir, Academic Incharge, Mr. Dattatray Ohal Sir, Cultural Committee Head, Mr. Mukteshwar Khobare Sir, Assembly Committee Head and Smt. Varsha Labade Mam, Asst. Committee Head of the Assembly.
Hon'ble Chief Guest Shri. Vikas Labade Sir Principal gave an introductory speech enlightening the view and contributions of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and his struggle against caste inequalities.
On this occasion, both teachers and students participated in different activities. Mr. Vijay Sarwade sir recited a poem depicting the invaluable works wrought by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Smt. Kanchan Shastri Mam sung a melodious song on Babasaheb Ambedkar ji. Students from distinct classes gave speeches and recited poems to mark this day memorable one.
The entire school, all teaching and non-teaching staff, attended the program. The programme culminated with the feeling of oneness and equality put forward by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a social reformer, who championed equality and justice.
The entire program was emceed and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Mayuri Bhosle mam.
