Our Aim:-
বেঙ্গল প্রোভিন্স বরাবরই ভারতবর্ষের রত্ন বা র্যাদার রত্নগর্ভ। দেশীয় কুটিরশিল্প, পণ্য-সরবরাহ, আন্তর্দেশীয় বানিজ্য সবেতেই বাংলা ছিল অগ্রগণ্য। কিন্তু এসবের বাইরে, সবচেয়ে উপরে যেটা ছিল সেটা হচ্ছে বাঙালীর মনন- বুদ্ধিমত্তা এবং রুচি। যার পরিচয় পাই রেনেসাঁস পর্বে রামমোহন- ঈশ্বরচন্দ্রের কাজে, নবজাগরণ পর্যায়ে রামকৃষ্ণ - বিবেকানন্দের বিশ্বজয়ে বা যুদ্ধযুগে অরবিন্দ-গোখলের মন্তব্যে। কিন্তু সেই বাংলাটা আজ গেল কোথায়? খুব আশ্চর্য ও দু:খের বিষয় হল আজকের এই " বঙ্গবিলোপ"
CSDG বা সিভিল সার্ভিস ফর দেশী গাইজের জন্মই হয় এখান থেকে। আমরা মনে করি, ডিরোজিওর সেই বাংলা, রবীন্দ্রনাথের এই বাংলা সবটা অবলুপ্ত হতে পারেনা। সেই মনীষা, সেই চেতনা, সেই রক্ত, সেই জিন পুরোপুরি হারিয়ে যেতে পারেনা রাজনৈতিক কোন্দলে , বিড়ির ধোঁয়ায় আর শনি মন্দিরের প্রদোষ-আড্ডায়।
আমরা আগেও ভারতবর্ষকে টপ লেভেলের সিভিল সার্ভেন্ট প্রোভাইড করেছি, সত্যেন্দনাথ সুভাষ চন্দ্র থেকে শুরু করলে সেই লিস্ট অনেক লম্বা। আমরা আজও তাই পারি। বাংলার ছেলেমেয়েরা বিশেষত গ্রামবাংলার, মফস্বলের ছেলেমেয়েদের শরীরের জোর, মনের সাহস অপরিসীম। একটু তাদেরকে পথ দেখালে, সাহায্য করলে তারা পারবেনা এমন কাজ নেই। CSDG সেই অর্থে আমাদের একটা প্রতিজ্ঞা। এমন কোনো বাচ্ছা থাকবেনা বাংলায় যে শুধু বই কিনতে পারেনি বা কোলকাতা- দিল্লী গিয়ে লাখ টাকা খরচ করতে পারেনি বলে সিভিল সার্ভেন্ট হতে পারেনি। আমরা তাদের সব পড়াবো যতদুর আমরা পারি। আমাদের আশা ভারতের টপ লেভেলের যত ব্যুরোক্র্যাট আছে সব হবে বাঙালী ঘরের সন্তান । UPSC পরীক্ষায় একশটা নামের মধ্যে প্রথম সত্তরটা ঘোষ, বোস, মন্ডল, মুখার্জি নস্কর, খাতুনে ভরে থাকবে এটাই আমাদের স্বপ্ন।
