D.A.V. Police Public School, Kurukshetra proudly hosted the Haryana State Kho-Kho Tournament 2026-27 under the inspiring theme “Empowering DAVians” on 22nd and 23rd August 2026. The two-day sporting extravaganza witnessed enthusiastic participation of talented young Kho-Kho players from DAV schools across Haryana in the U-14, U-17 and U-19 categories for both Boys and Girls. The tournament showcased remarkable talent, determination, teamwork, discipline and true sportsmanship among the participants. In the U-14 Boys category, D.A.V. Public School, Sector 37, Faridabad emerged victorious, while D.A.V. Public School, Assandh, Karnal secured the top position in U-14 Girls. In the U-17 Boys category, OSDAV Public School, Kaithal emerged as the winner, whereas D.A.V. Police Public School, Sector 30, Faridabad clinched the U-17 Girls title. In the U-19 Boys category, MLS DAV Narnaul emerged victorious, while D.A.V. Public School, Assandh, Karnal bagged the U-19 Girls title. The tournament concluded on a high note, celebrating sporting excellence, camaraderie and the indomitable spirit of the young athletes.

On 20 August 2026, D.A.V. Police Public School, Kurukshetra organised an engaging “Guess the Sanskrit Word” activity for the students of Class V under the Sanskrit Week Celebration.Students enthusiastically participated in the activity by identifying Sanskrit words through colourful pictures and interesting clues. The activity made Sanskrit learning interactive and meaningful, while helping students enhance their vocabulary, observation skills and understanding of the language.

On 19 August 2026, DAVPPS KKR organised an engaging Wonderful Wednesday activity, “Did You Know India?”, for the students of Class IV. The activity was designed to enhance students’ knowledge about India’s diverse places, culture and heritage. Students were given three interesting clues related to an Indian place and were encouraged to identify the place using their general knowledge, observation and reasoning skills.

On 18 August 2026, D.A.V. Police Public School, Kurukshetra organised an engaging Testing Tuesday activity – “Decimal Bingo” for Class V. The fun-filled activity transformed mathematical practice into an exciting game, where students enthusiastically worked with decimal numbers while developing accuracy, quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
