On 12 February 2026, D.A.V. Police Public School, Kurukshetra organised a sacred Hawan ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti to pay tribute to the great reformer and founder of the Arya Samaj. The ceremony was conducted in the school premises with full devotion and spiritual fervour. The Principal Ma’am, along with teachers and students, actively participated in the ritual and offered oblations into the holy fire while chanting Vedic mantras.

On 11 February 2026, D.A.V. Police Public School, Kurukshetra organised a sacred Hawan ceremony for the students of Grade VIII to seek divine blessings for their upcoming DAV board examinations. The spiritual event was conducted in the school premises with full devotion and discipline, where students along with their teachers participated in chanting Vedic mantras and offering ahuti in the holy fire. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, faith, and confidence, inspiring students to stay focused and calm during their exams. The ceremony aimed to strengthen students mentally and spiritually, reminding them of the importance of hard work and self-belief.
Principal Ma’am extended her best wishes to all the students and encouraged them to stay confident, and dedicated towards their goals.

On 1 February 2026, D.A.V. Police Public School, Kurukshetra proudly hosted a spiritually uplifting 101-Kundiya Hawan organised by Arya Yuva Samaj at the Community Centre, Kheri Ram Nagar, Kurukshetra, under the able guidance of Yogi Suri Ji, National President, as an integral part of the ‘No Nasha Nation’ Campaign.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Sh. Sushil Kumar Ji, Advocate and Sarpanch, Kheri Ram Nagar, Dr. Girdhari Lal ji, District NSS Coordinator, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Sir, ASI and Incharge, Drug Free Team, Kurukshetra, and ASI Shree Naresh Ji, PRO, whose encouraging presence and insightful messages greatly motivated the participants.
An awareness rally led by students and teachers was organised in the surrounding areas spreading a strong message against substance abuse and promoting healthy living. The sacred ceremony created an atmosphere of devotion and positivity as students, along with their teachers, participated wholeheartedly in the rituals with deep faith and discipline, reinforcing the values of purity, self-control, and moral living.

Saluting the Spirit of the Constitution at DAVPPS KKR

On 26 January 2026, D.A.V. Police Public School, Kurukshetra celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pride and patriotic fervour. The solemn flag hoisting ceremony was gracefully conducted by the respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Monika Bhatia ma'am in the presence of faculty members, non-teaching staff and helping staff, filling the campus with a sense of unity and national spirit. As the Tricolour unfurled and the National Anthem echoed, everyone paid homage to the Constitution and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
