Sant Nischal Singh Ji’s Nirwan Diwas was observed with deep reverence and devotion at Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa. The programme began with the recitation of a soulful Shabad, creating an atmosphere of peace, spirituality and remembrance.
A brief speech was delivered highlighting the inspiring life and teachings of Sant Nischal Singh Ji. An awareness seminar was organised for the students of Classes X and XI at Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa, to sensitise them about important issues concerning their safety, legal rights and responsible citizenship. Advocate Amit Saharawat conducted an informative session on the POCSO Act, highlighting the importance of personal safety, understanding boundaries, speaking up against inappropriate behaviour, and knowing the legal safeguards available to children.
ASI Rishipal also addressed the students on Cyber Crime and Drug Abuse. He made students aware of responsible use of digital platforms, common cyber threats, online safety measures and the consequences of becoming involved in cyber offences. He further sensitised them about the harmful effects and serious legal consequences of consuming and possessing drugs, encouraging them to stay away from substance abuse and make healthy, responsible choices.

A creative Rakhi & Card Making Activity was conducted for the students of Classes I–VIII at Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa. The activity provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, imagination and artistic skills while celebrating the spirit of Raksha Bandhan. The students enthusiastically designed colourful rakhis and beautiful greeting cards using a variety of decorative materials. The activity also helped inculcate values of love, care, sharing and respect for family bonds.

During the camp, school drivers and staff members underwent comprehensive eye check-ups conducted by the medical team. The participants were examined for vision-related concerns and were given appropriate guidance on eye care and the importance of regular eye examinations.

The cultural program was a vibrant presentation of traditional Teej songs, melodious music, energetic beats, graceful dances, and patriotic performances. Students dressed in colorful traditional attire added charm to the celebrations and showcased their talent, creativity, and confidence. The performances reflected the joy of Teej while highlighting the values of unity, courage, and patriotism associated with Independence Day.

Sant Nishchal Singh Public School, Ladwa, proudly celebrates the remarkable performance of its talented student-athletes in the recently concluded CBSE Cricket Cluster. Leading the achievements, Param Kamboj delivered a stellar performance to secure a spot in the National Level Cricket Competition, making history as the first student from the Ladwa region to qualify at the national level. Alongside Param, three other star players—Raksh*t Garg, Aadit Namdev and Harman Dhanda—demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, dedication and sportsmanship, successfully qualifying for the State Level Cricket Competition. Their outstanding performance has brought immense pride and glory to the school and the entire Ladwa region.

Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa, organised two engaging patriotic activities on 12 August 2026.

Students of Classes I–V participated in a Fancy Dress Competition on Patriotism, while students of Classes VI–VIII took part in a Patriotic Song Competition. Both activities witnessed enthusiastic participation and beautifully reflected the students’ love and pride for the nation.

The fancy dress presentations featured freedom fighters and national heroes, while the patriotic songs filled the school campus with a spirit of unity, pride and nationalism. The activities provided students with an opportunity to express their creativity and patriotic feelings with confidence.

Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa organised the CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27 – Category II: Fire Cooking for students of Classes IX–XII .

The competition provided students with an excellent platform to showcase their culinary creativity, confidence, teamwork and practical life skills.

The participants prepared their dishes within the stipulated 90 minutes, following all necessary hygiene and fire-safety precautions. They came equipped with aprons, gloves and hair caps and brought the required ingredients, utensils and serving materials from home.
