Sant Nischal Singh Ji’s Nirwan Diwas was observed with deep reverence and devotion at Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa. The programme began with the recitation of a soulful Shabad, creating an atmosphere of peace, spirituality and remembrance.

An awareness seminar was organised for the students of Classes X and XI at Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa, to sensitise them about important issues concerning their safety, legal rights and responsible citizenship. Advocate Amit Saharawat conducted an informative session on the POCSO Act, highlighting the importance of personal safety, understanding boundaries, speaking up against inappropriate behaviour, and knowing the legal safeguards available to children.
ASI Rishipal also addressed the students on Cyber Crime and Drug Abuse. He made students aware of responsible use of digital platforms, common cyber threats, online safety measures and the consequences of becoming involved in cyber offences. He further sensitised them about the harmful effects and serious legal consequences of consuming and possessing drugs, encouraging them to stay away from substance abuse and make healthy, responsible choices.

The cultural program was a vibrant presentation of traditional Teej songs, melodious music, energetic beats, graceful dances, and patriotic performances. Students dressed in colorful traditional attire added charm to the celebrations and showcased their talent, creativity, and confidence. The performances reflected the joy of Teej while highlighting the values of unity, courage, and patriotism associated with Independence Day.

Leading the achievements, Param Kamboj delivered a stellar performance to secure a spot in the National Level Cricket Competition, making history as the first student from the Ladwa region to qualify at the national level. Alongside Param, three other star players—Raksh*t Garg, Aadit Namdev and Harman Dhanda—demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, dedication and sportsmanship, successfully qualifying for the State Level Cricket Competition. Students of Classes I–V participated in a Fancy Dress Competition on Patriotism, while students of Classes VI–VIII took part in a Patriotic Song Competition. Both activities witnessed enthusiastic participation and beautifully reflected the students’ love and pride for the nation.

Sant Nischal Singh Public School, Ladwa organised the CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27 – Category II: Fire Cooking for students of Classes IX–XII .

The competition provided students with an excellent platform to showcase their culinary creativity, confidence, teamwork and practical life skills.

The participants prepared their dishes within the stipulated 90 minutes, following all necessary hygiene and fire-safety precautions. They came equipped with aprons, gloves and hair caps and brought the required ingredients, utensils and serving materials from home.
