M.Phil and Ph.D students are admitted and imparted training in various aspects of Ancient Indian History Culture& Archeology . In M. A. we teach political History of Ancient India, Socio-Economic History, Indian Culture & Thought and Ancient World Civilizations, Pre history, Proto-history Epigraphy, Numismatics, Art & Architecture and History & Archaeology of Haryana. Students of field archaeology groups are taken to some ancient mound for practical training in excavation techniques. M.Phil Students are taught sources of Ancient Indian History, Historiography, Research Methodology and Protohistoric India.
