*A Day of Learning Beyond the Classroom! ✉️🏤*

Today, our curious little learners of *Class 2nd* went on an educational visit to the Post Office.🏣🏣💌💌

The children were excited to explore the real world of letters and communication. At the Post Office, they were warmly welcomed and explained about the working of the Post Office, different types of postal services, importance of stamps, how letters are collected, sorted and delivered to our homes. 📮💌

Our students learned how the Post Office connects people across the country and the world. They saw the stamps, envelopes, parcels and understood the hard work behind every letter that reaches us.

It was a fun-filled and informative experience. The children enjoyed a lot and returned with big smiles and new knowledge! 😊✨🏣🏣💌💌

We thank the Post Office staff for their kind support and for making this visit so memorable for our kids.

Today, our talented storytellers of Class 2nd mesmerized everyone with their amazing Story Telling Activity.

Our little stars narrated beautiful stories in both Hindi and English, full of wonderful morals and values. Every story had a special lesson to share! 🦊👑

What made it more special was their creativity! The children used colourful and creative props to make their stories more interesting and expressive. 🎭🎨

We were so happy to see their confidence, expression, and fluency on stage. Each child spoke so beautifully and confidently!

It was truly a joyful and learning-filled day for all. Well done, little storytellers! We are so proud of you! ❤️👏

Little Stars, Big Dreams! 🌟👮‍♂️👩‍⚕️🥦

Today our tiny tots of UKG (Balvatika-3) showcased their talent in a vibrant Role Play Activity.

The theme was Community Helpers and Healthy Food.

Our little ones stole everyone's hearts dressed up as different helpers - Policeman, Postman, Teacher, Doctor, Nurse and many more, confidently doing their role play. 👨‍🏫💌

And in the Food theme, our cute fruits and vegetables explained the importance of healthy eating in such an adorable way! 🍎🥕🍇

It was amazing to see their confidence, creativity and innocent expressions on stage. The children participated with great enthusiasm and made the day truly memorable.

Today, our tiny patriots of Class 1st participated in a vibrant Fancy Dress Activity with the theme Freedom Fighters.

The enthusiasm was at its peak! Our children came dressed as Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Subhash Chandra Bose and many more brave heroes of our nation. 👧👦

Dressed in amazing costumes, they spoke with great confidence and delivered their dialogues with full Josh and patriotism. Their wonderful presentations filled everyone with pride! ❤️🙏

It was truly heart-touching to see such small kids understanding and respecting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

Well done, little stars! You made us all proud! 👏😊 Jai Hind!

Awareness Programme on POCSO Act – Empowering Young Minds with Safety and Awareness

An awareness programme on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was organised at DAV Public School, Sector 13, Kurukshetra for the students of Class V under the school’s child safety and awareness initiatives. The programme aimed at sensitising students about child safety, personal boundaries, good touch and bad touch, child abuse, their rights and the legal safeguards available for their protection.
The programme was organised by the Office of Chief Judicial Magistrate-Cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Kurukshetra.
Adv. Vishal Mittal, Advocate, District Court, Kurukshetra, interacted with the students and explained important provisions of the POCSO Act in simple and age-appropriate language. The students were guided on recognising unsafe or uncomfortable situations, maintaining personal boundaries and speaking up whenever they feel unsafe.
The students were also made aware of the difference between good touch and bad touch and the importance of immediately sharing any uncomfortable experience with a trusted adult.
Adv. Mittal encouraged the students to seek help from their teachers, Principal, parents or any other trustworthy person whenever required. He also apprised them that they could approach the concerned department/authorities for help and support in case of any such situation.
The session emphasised that every child has the right to safety, dignity, protection and a secure environment, and that timely reporting and seeking help can play an important role in preventing child abuse and ensuring children's well-being.
The programme was an important step towards empowering students with awareness, confidence and the knowledge to protect themselves and speak up when necessary.

Today, the young learners of Class I and Class II participated in a fun and colourful Fruit & Salad Activity. 🍎🍌🥕🥒
The children brought a variety of fresh fruits and nutritious salad from home and enjoyed eating them together. 😋🌈
Through this hands-on activity, they learnt that healthy food provides essential nutrients for growth, energy and overall well-being. 💪💚
The activity beautifully encouraged our little ones to choose fresh, nutritious and wholesome foods and develop healthy eating habits from an early age. 🌱😊

🌿✨Celebrating Poshan Maah 2026! ✨🌿
Today, our school celebrated Poshan Maah 2026 with great enthusiasm and joy, creating awareness among our young learners about the importance of good nutrition, healthy eating habits and a balanced diet. 🥗🍎💚
As a part of the celebration, the children of Class I and Class II participated in a fun-filled Sprout Eating Activity. 🌱🫘😋 The children brought different varieties of sprouts made from pulses, legumes, chickpeas and seeds from home and happily enjoyed this nutritious treat. Through this activity, they learnt how a tiny seed grows into a sprout and discovered the nutritional benefits of sprouts. 🌱✨
Our little learners of Bal Vatika-III (UKG) participated in a Healthy Eating Activity, bringing nutritious food items such as paneer, green vegetables and healthy parathas from home. 🥬🧀🥗 This activity helped them understand the importance of choosing wholesome and nutritious foods for healthy growth and development. 💚😊
The activities encouraged our young learners to make healthy food choices and understand that good nutrition is the foundation of a healthy and happy life. 🌱💪

The celebration was a beautiful tribute to our grandparents—the pillars of love, wisdom, care and unconditional affection in a child’s life. Their presence adds a special warmth to every family and leaves behind values and memories that last a lifetime. 💕🌿
Our little ones beautifully embraced the spirit of the day by stepping into adorable Grandparents’ Get-Ups and confidently walking the Ramp Walk. 👒🕶️👴👵✨
The soulful songs, sweet poems and delightful performances by our young learners made the celebration even more memorable. 🎶🎤🌷
It was truly heartwarming to see our children understand and celebrate the irreplaceable role of grandparents in their lives. 🥰
