The misty hills of Kurseong bore witness to an extraordinary display of discipline, grace, and fierce patriotic fervor today as our school girls delivered a breathtaking march past performance during the 80th Independence Day celebrations.

As the morning mist drifted across the town parade ground, the crisp, rhythmic beat of the drums echoed against the surrounding slopes. Dressed in immaculate uniforms with polished boots, sharp sashes, and heads held high, our girls marched into the arena with absolute command and unity. Every step was executed with razor-sharp precision—arm swings perfectly aligned, knees lifting in exact harmony, and eyes focused straight ahead. The crowd, filled with locals, parents, and dignitaries, watched in awe before breaking into thunderous applause.

What made their performance truly unforgettable was the sheer determination and pride they brought to the ground. Guided by weeks of grueling early-morning practice in the chilly mountain air, tireless drills, and unwavering dedication, the contingent moved not just as individuals, but as one unified force. Our parade commander led the group with a voice that rang clear and confident across the valley, embodying true leadership and strength.

Witnessing the National Flag unfurl against the breathtaking backdrop of Kurseong’s pine trees while our girls offered their flawless salute was a moment of pure emotion. They didn't just participate in the parade—they set the standard for discipline, spirit, and girl power.

A huge congratulations to our spectacular march past contingent, their hard-working instructors, and the supportive staff who cheered them on at every step! You have brought immense honor to our school and filled our hearts with immense pride. Here’s to the spirit of freedom, strength, and the bright young women leading us forward. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳✨

Godwin Modern School (Salbari & Kurseong campuses) has officially collaborated with Think Machine AI Labs to bring hands-on AI, Robotics, and Coding classes directly into our classrooms!
Our Class 9 and 10 students are stepping beyond textbooks to build, program, and bring intelligent machines to life.

On 5th February 2026, the students of Class XI actively participated in an insightful meeting with local self-government leaders. The session provided a valuable platform for students to discuss important community issues and understand the functioning of local governance.
