*Say NO to Ragging, YES to Future: GPCET Hosts Youth Safety Drive*
GPCET campus hosted a large-scale awareness program on Wednesday focused on _“Social Responsibility Among Youth.”_ The event was jointly organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kurnool, the Legal Literacy Forum, and the GPCET Vivekananda Yuva Forum.
*4-Point Focus of the Drive:* Ragging-Free Campus, Drug-Free Youth, Traffic Rules Compliance, and Cyber Security Awareness.
Addressing students as chief guest, *Senior Civil Judge & DLSA Secretary Sri B. Leela Venkata Seshadri* said, “Ragging is not just a legal offense — it’s an inhuman act that crushes a student’s confidence. Seniors must be mentors to juniors. Drug abuse will push youth’s future into darkness.” He urged victims to access free legal aid via *toll-free 15100*.
*Kurnool Traffic CI Sri Mansuruddin* added, “Triple riding endangers lives. A helmet is a promise of safety to your family.” He also warned against sharing OTPs or suspicious links.
*Principal Dr. C. Srinivasa Rao* affirmed, “Our campus will remain ragging-free and drug-free. We’ll ensure all students follow traffic rules. Disciplined students build an ideal society.”
The program concluded with a collective student pledge to stay away from ragging and drugs. Students and faculty actively participated.
