🇮🇳 80th Independence Day Celebration at D.A.V. Model Senior Secondary School, Kurali

D.A.V. celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The entire school community participated wholeheartedly in the celebration.
Students from the Little Patriots, Junior, and Senior Wings presented captivating patriotic dances, speeches, and poems, spreading the message of unity, patriotism, and pride in our nation.
The programme was graced by the presence of Mr. J. R. Sharma, Principal; Mr. Bittu Khullar, Manager; Mr. Pankaj Goyal, Chairman; Mrs. Rakesh Kumari, Vice Principal; and Mrs. Meenu Dhiman, Coordinator. The event was conducted under the able supervision of Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur, CCA Incharge, and Mrs. Achla Sharma, Junior Wing Head.
The celebration was a memorable occasion that filled everyone with a deep sense of patriotism and inspired the students to become responsible and proud citizens of the nation.

✨ A beautiful celebration of culture, tradition and togetherness! ✨

On 12-08-2026, Wednesday .A.V. Model Sr. Sec. School, Kurali, celebrated the vibrant festival of Teej with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour. Students from Nursery to Class XII participated wholeheartedly and showcased the rich cultural heritage of Punjab through cultural dances, folk songs, Giddha, and a beautiful play depicting the spirit and traditions of Teej.

The event was a grand success, reflecting the continuous efforts, dedication and teamwork of the students and teachers. The programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of CCA In-charge Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, with the esteemed presence and support of Principal Mr. J.R. Sharma, Vice Principal Mrs. Rakesh Kumari, coordinators and teachers.

The Principal extended warm wishes to the students and highlighted the cultural significance of Teej, encouraging them to remain connected with their rich traditions and heritage. He also assured that such cultural programmes would continue to be organised in the future to inculcate cultural values, preserve our heritage and provide students with meaningful opportunities to showcase their talent.
