" *Taringa Rally at BHS Machil Inspires Patriotism under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,*
A Taringa Rally was organised at Boys High School, Machil The event was flagged off at 9:30 AM by the Worthy Headmaster, BHS Machil.

Midway through the rally, Worthy Principal BHSS DUDI Mr. Javeed Ahmad Mir and Incharge Police Post Dudi, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Mir, along with students from all affiliated schools, joined the participants, further boosting the enthusiasm.

A total of 100 NCC cadets and more than 600 students from other affiliated schools actively took part in the rally, displaying great zeal and patriotic spirit. The event aimed to spread awareness and reinforce the values of freedom, unity, and national pride among the youth.

*Sports Day at PM SHRI BHS Machil*
A thrilling Sports Day was organized at BHS Machil, featuring a cricket match between the 9th and 10th-grade girls. The 9th-grade girls won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 95 runs in 8 overs. The 10th-grade girls successfully chased down the target in 7.2 overs, defeating the 9th-grade girls by 3 wickets.
This match showcased the girls' teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship. The 10th-grade girls' victory demonstrated their strategic gameplay and determination. The event promoted a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition among the students.

The match was a highlight of the Sports Day celebrations at PM SHRI BHS Machil, encouraging students to participate in sports and develop their physical and mental abilities.

*Plantation drive*
A plantation drive under PM Shri programme was held at BHS Machil, where 35 saplings were planted. Students and staff members actively participated in the event, showcasing their commitment to environmental sustainability. The drive aimed to promote greenery and raise awareness about the importance of plants for a healthy environment. A brief description was provided on the benefits of planting and the role it plays in maintaining ecological balance. The event highlighted the collective effort towards creating a greener future. It was a successful initiative that fostered environmental responsibility among the participants.

Today On 2nd October 2024, in honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, BHS Machil organised a Swachhata Abhiyan to promote the values of cleanliness and hygiene.
NCC Cadets of School actively participated in cleaning the school premises, including classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas. Students were also educated about the importance of waste segregation and maintaining a clean environment at home and in their communities.
The event was not only aimed at cleaning the surroundings but also at instilling in students a sense of responsibility towards keeping the environment clean. The program concluded with a pledge by all students and staff to keep their surroundings clean and to spread this message in society.
