With the route now motorable, much-needed relief has been provided to local residents, shepherds, farmers, and tourists. Mr. Karnahi appreciates the authorities for honoring their commitment and reiterates his dedication to addressing public issues and ensuring better connectivity for the region.

Mr. Mohd Idrees Karnahi, Senior PC Leader today on 01/06/2026, met with the OC Beacon Kupwara and OIC TP and conducted a spot visit of the damaged road stretch connecting TP, Tangdhar,Chowkibal etc to Bangus Valley.

During the visit, Mr. Karnahi highlighted the serious difficulties being faced by local residents, particularly shepherds, nomadic and farmers who transport their livestock to Bangus, as well as tourists visiting the Bangus valley. The damaged road has severely affected movement and accessibility in the area.

Mr. Karnahi emphasized that since the construction of the bridge is likely to take considerable time, the previously used alternate route should be immediately restored and made motorable for public use to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.

The Beacon authorities assured Mr. Karnahi that the necessary restoration work on the alternate road will be completed within the next 10 days, providing much-needed relief to the people of the region.

Mr. Karnahi reiterated his commitment to raising public issues and ensuring that the concerns of the people are addressed without delay.

The people of Dhani, Rear Sudhpora, and Forward Sudhpora have strongly rejected the exaggerated and misleading claims being propagated by NC Karnah regarding a so-called "huge joining" in the native village of Mr. Mohd Idrees Karnahi.

The residents have made it clear that their support for Mr. Mohd Idrees Karnahi remains firm, unwavering, and wholehearted. They stated that political photo sessions, staged gatherings, and misleading propaganda cannot weaken the deep bond of trust and respect that exists between Mr. Karnahi and the people of the area.
