Another attempt at damage control does not answer the core concerns that many people have raised.
No one is against providing safe classrooms, proper washrooms, fire exits, or better facilities for children. These improvements are necessary and appreciated. The real question is: Why was it considered necessary to demolish a historic building that many believe was still structurally sound when there was sufficient space to construct new buildings elsewhere?
Describing all concerns as "negative" or "one-sided" does not answer these genuine questions.
The letter repeatedly speaks about "Christ's ministry." While the school does include moral education, many former students and well-wishers feel that it has become more of a formality than a central part of the institution's mission. The Bible teaches that Christ's ministry is not defined merely by buildings or expansion, but by faithfully teaching God's Word and making disciples (Matthew 28:19–20). If the Christian mission is to remain at the heart of the institution, it should be reflected not only in its history but also in its present-day teaching, values, and witness.
Buildings alone do not make a Christian ministry. Scripture reminds us that the work of Christ is built on truth, love, faithful discipleship, and obedience to God's Word.
Those raising these questions are not opposing progress. They are asking for transparency, accountability, and the preservation of a legacy that has inspired generations. Honest questions deserve honest answers.

एक और "डैमेज कंट्रोल" का प्रयास उन मूल प्रश्नों का उत्तर नहीं देता जिन्हें बहुत से लोगों ने गंभीरता से उठाया है।
कोई भी सुरक्षित कक्षाओं, स्वच्छ शौचालयों, अग्नि सुरक्षा, या बच्चों के लिए बेहतर सुविधाओं का विरोध नहीं कर रहा है। ये सभी आवश्यक हैं और इनका स्वागत किया जाना चाहिए। वास्तविक प्रश्न यह है कि जब नए भवन बनाने के लिए पर्याप्त स्थान उपलब्ध था, तब एक ऐतिहासिक भवन, जिसे अनेक लोग अभी भी मजबूत और उपयोग योग्य मानते थे, उसे गिराना क्यों आवश्यक समझा गया?
हर चिंता को "नकारात्मक" या "एकतरफा" कह देना इन वास्तविक और उचित प्रश्नों का उत्तर नहीं है।
पत्र में बार-बार "मसीह की सेवकाई" का उल्लेख किया गया है। यद्यपि विद्यालय में नैतिक शिक्षा (Moral Education) दी जाती है, परंतु अनेक पूर्व छात्र और शुभचिंतक महसूस करते हैं कि यह अब केवल एक औपचारिकता बनकर रह गई है, न कि संस्था के मूल उद्देश्य का केंद्र। बाइबल सिखाती है कि मसीह की सेवकाई केवल भवनों के निर्माण या विस्तार से नहीं मापी जाती, बल्कि परमेश्वर के वचन को विश्वासयोग्यता से सिखाने और लोगों को मसीह का चेला बनाने से होती है (मत्ती 28:19–20)। यदि ईसाई मिशन आज भी इस संस्था का हृदय है, तो यह केवल उसके इतिहास में ही नहीं, बल्कि उसकी वर्तमान शिक्षा, मूल्यों और जीवन-गवाही में भी स्पष्ट दिखाई देना चाहिए।
केवल भवन किसी संस्था को मसीही सेवकाई नहीं बना देते। पवित्रशास्त्र हमें स्मरण कराता है कि मसीह का कार्य सत्य, प्रेम, विश्वासयोग्य चेलापन और परमेश्वर के वचन के प्रति आज्ञाकारिता पर आधारित होता है।
जो लोग ये प्रश्न उठा रहे हैं, वे प्रगति के विरोधी नहीं हैं। वे केवल पारदर्शिता, जवाबदेही और उस विरासत के संरक्षण की अपेक्षा कर रहे हैं जिसने पीढ़ियों को प्रेरित किया है। ईमानदार प्रश्नों के ईमानदार उत्तर मिलने चाहिए।
