On 23rd February 1991, 30 years ago, Indian launche a search and interrogation operation in the villages of Kunan and Poshpora, located in Kashmir's remote Kupwa District. They interrogated Kashmiri men and their wives, mothers and daughters were brutally r***d. Indian official records say at least 23 women were gang r***d by forces. However, Human Rights organizations including Human Rights Watch have reported that the number of r***d women could be as high as 100. No woman was spared that night, minor girls, teenage girls, married women or older women. (Youngest one was 13 years old, and elder one was 80 years old).
