JKTF Zone D.H. Pora Organizes Welcome Meeting in Honour of Newly Posted Zonal Education Officer Mr.Mohammad Iqbal.
D.H. Pora, 4 June 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), Zone D.H. Pora, organized a welcome meeting in honour of the newly posted Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), D.H. Pora. The meeting was attended by the District President Mr Sartaj Ali, Zonal President, Mr Safeer Sir, Vice Zonal Presedent Aijaz Shb,District Spokesperson Mr Arshid Botany Sir,Vice District Present Abdul Karim Shb ,Zonal President HC Gam Khurshid shb, Zonal body D H Pora Gulzar Ahmad Shah, Aijaz Ahmad wani, Shahlal Ahmad Bhat ,Irshad Ahmad,Aftab Andrabi,Imtiyaz Ahmad and some senior members of the Forum.
At the outset, the JKTF delegation warmly welcomed the worthy officer and conveyed their best wishes for a successful tenure. The participants expressed hope that his experience, leadership, and administrative acumen would contribute significantly towards strengthening the education system in the zone.
A detailed and fruitful interaction was held during the meeting wherein various issues concerning the teaching fraternity and the functioning of educational institutions were discussed. The Zonal President D H Pora Mr. Safeer shb highlighted several genuine issues faced by teachers and sought their timely redressal. The delegation emphasized the importance of addressing teachers' concerns in a prompt and transparent manner so as to ensure a conducive academic environment in government schools.
The worthy ZEO patiently listened to all the issues and suggestions raised by the representatives of JKTF. He appreciated the constructive approach adopted by the Forum and assured the participants that all genuine matters would be examined on merit and addressed expeditiously in accordance with the rules and regulations in force. He reiterated his commitment towards maintaining an open-door policy and fostering a cordial working relationship with all stakeholders.
During the deliberations, the JKTF Spokesperson, District President, and other members of the Forum also shared their views regarding the challenges and opportunities in the education sector. They stressed the need for greater coordination, mutual understanding, and collective efforts to achieve academic excellence and enhance the quality of education in government institutions.
Addressing the gathering, the worthy ZEO emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in nation-building and assured the teaching community of his full cooperation. He called upon all stakeholders to work in close coordination and with a shared sense of responsibility for the betterment of students enrolled in government schools. He further stressed the importance of discipline, accountability, and dedication in achieving educational goals and improving learning outcomes.
The participants appreciated the positive and encouraging response of the worthy officer and expressed confidence that under his leadership, the education sector in Zone D.H. Pora would witness further progress and development.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with both the administration and JKTF reaffirming their commitment to work collectively for the welfare of the teachers, the advancement of educational institutions, and the overall development of students.

The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), Zone D.H. Pora, warmly welcomes the promotion of Headmasters as Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) in the School Education Department and expresses sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Education Minister, Miss Sakina Itoo, and the Education Department for initiating this long-pending process.
The Forum believes that this significant step will strengthen the education system and improve administrative efficiency. JKTF Zone D.H. Pora especially welcomes the appointment of a dedicated ZEO for the zone, as teachers had been facing considerable hardship over the last two years. The teaching fraternity is hopeful that the zone will now function smoothly and in line with the expectations of teachers.

A lever is a simple machine that helps us lift heavy weights with less effort. In this practical activity, the teacher shows how placing a rod on a support (fulcrum) and applying force on one side makes it easier to lift a heavy object on the other side. When the fulcrum is closer to the load, the load feels lighter. This proves that a lever reduces the effort needed and helps us lift heavy weights easily in daily life.
