Today, on 18th June 2026, PM SHRI MS Rangrezmohalla Kulgam had the privilege of receiving the first official visit of the Worthy Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Kulgam during the early hours of the school day. The visit proved highly motivating and beneficial for both students and staff.
Upon arrival, the Worthy ZEO attended the morning assembly and closely observed its proceedings. He interacted warmly with the students, encouraging them to remain disciplined, punctual, and dedicated towards their studies. During his address to the students and staff, he emphasized the importance of education, moral values, regular attendance, cleanliness, and hard work in achieving success. His inspiring speech was greatly appreciated by all present.
The Worthy ZEO conducted a thorough inspection of the school. He monitored classroom transactions in both offline and online modes, interacted with teachers and students, and assessed the overall teaching-learning process. He also checked students' notebooks to evaluate academic progress and verified teachers' diaries to ensure proper maintenance of records and lesson planning.
During the visit, he inspected the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) programme, examined the menu being served, and reviewed the arrangements made for students. He expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the programme.
The Worthy ZEO also paid special attention to the cleanliness and upkeep of the school premises. He inspected classrooms, corridors, and other facilities and issued valuable instructions regarding the maintenance of cleanliness, proper management of school infrastructure, beautification of the campus, and the creation of a child-friendly learning environment.
The staff members attentively noted the suggestions and directions provided during the visit and assured him of their wholehearted cooperation in implementing the same.
The entire school fraternity is grateful to the Worthy ZEO Kulgam for sparing his valuable time to visit our institution, guide the staff, and motivate the students. His constructive observations and encouraging words will undoubtedly help us improve further and strive for excellence in all aspects of school functioning.

Today, on 03/06/2026, the 2nd day of the medical check-up programme at PM SHRI MS Rangrezmohalla Kulgam, girl students underwent a comprehensive health screening conducted by the visiting medical team. Various health parameters including height, weight, vision, dental health, throat examination, and general physical well-being were assessed.
The medical team carefully examined the students and provided necessary health-related guidance. Some students who required further medical attention were referred to higher health institutions for detailed evaluation and treatment.
The programme was conducted smoothly with active participation from students and staff members, reflecting the school’s commitment towards promoting health awareness and ensuring the well-being of every child.

A medical check-up camp was organized today at PM SHRI MS Rangrezmohalla Kulgam by a dedicated team of doctors from BSK Kulgam for the students of the school. The camp aimed to assess the overall health status of students and promote awareness regarding health and hygiene.
During the check-up, various health parameters including weight, height, vision, dental health, throat condition, and general physical fitness of the students were examined thoroughly. The medical team interacted with students and provided valuable guidance regarding personal hygiene and healthy lifestyle practices.
A large number of students benefited from this initiative. After detailed examination, several students who required specialized care and further medical attention were referred to District Hospital Kulgam for advanced treatment and consultation.
The school administration expresses sincere gratitude to the team of doctors from BSK Kulgam for their valuable services and commitment towards ensuring better health and well-being of students.

Today on 14/05/2026, students of PM SHRI MS Rangrezmohalla Kulgam enthusiastically participated in various competitions organized by Municipal Committee Kulgam under the ongoing NMBA (100 Days Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan Programme). The events included Drawing, Essay Writing and Slogan Writing competitions, in which students from different institutions including BHSS Kulgam, GHSS Kulgam and various private schools of Kulgam participated with great zeal and dedication.
The students of our school displayed remarkable talent, creativity and awareness regarding the social cause of drug-free society. Among the participants, Fatima Mustafa of our school secured 1st Position in Slogan Writing competition for her impressive and impactful slogan highlighting the ill effects of drug abuse. Sofia Aadil got 1st position in Drawing Competition, Both were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- along with an appreciation certificate each by the organizers. Furthermore, both have been selected for the upcoming District Level Competition to be held at the District Headquarters.
Other participating students of the school were also honoured with appreciation certificates for their active participation and commendable performances in different events. It is pertinent to mention that these students had earlier qualified at the school level and subsequently participated at the town level before representing the institution in the MC Kulgam level competitions.
The participating students were escorted and guided by the IC HOI, whose continuous encouragement and supervision motivated the students throughout the programme.
The school administration appreciated the efforts of all the participants and congratulated the winners for bringing laurels to the institution. Such programmes play a vital role in spreading awareness among students and society regarding the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage youth to contribute positively towards building a healthy and responsible society.
